Do the fire defense passive offset the fire weakness passive?

Yes it does but not all of it. Certainly a big help.

What is required though is avoiding fire that can be avoided and getting used to mitigating it with a shield when you cannot. You will still notice the extra damage, just not as much as if you were any other race.

afaik 661 equals to %1 resistance. So it just lowers around %3 mitigation. Isnt really big. i couldnt even notice.

In Cyrodil, it seems like everyone is running a Dawnbreaker build of some form or fashion. I got tired of getting tore up and removed the vampirism.

In pve, it is a lot of fun. But I have played my Darkelf DK as a vamp, and I don't miss getting oneshot by fire damage bosses.

Play what you want. Its only 600 or so gold to remove it.

    My 2 coppers.

Is there still the bug that doesn't refunds your in vamp skills invested points after curing?

If you’re inquiring for PVP: Yes- it helps. But being a dunmer doesn’t help against a Dawnbreaker of Smiting... which is a vampire’s biggest enemy in Cyrodiil.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.
