Does Negate remove AoE ultimates?

Does Negate removes lingering AoE ultimates like Destro Rage, Eye of the Storm, Permafrost or DK Banner? If not on live then how about after Elsweyr changes?

✭Yes, it removes ultimates like banner, destro ult and even other negates.
So you can counter an negate with a negate2 -

- It removes ground-based (i.e. static) AoE ults; Banner, Nova, Negate, Healing Thicket, Destro Rage etc.
- It does not remove PBAoE ults like Permafrost, Corrosive, Eye of Destro etc. Those are centered on the caster and are not ground-based.

Yes they are.
The eye of flame is an effect on the caster. Like a MagSorc casting Hardened Ward on himself, or a MagDK casting Scales etc. If you get Negated after casting those skills, their effects persist on the caster till their expiration. You can still get a projectile reflected back at you off a DK's Scales, while that DK is sitting inside a Negate.
Negate does not dispel player-based effects, but only ground effects. Eye of Flame is no different.EU | PC | AD1
