Random disconnects

Is there anybody else suffering from disconnections? Twice in the space of 15 minutes I have been kicked out of the game and put back onto the log in page.

Do you get a specific error message when disconnected from ESO?

I am having the same issue. It's been happening all weekend. Doesn't seem to happen all the time. Earlier today i was able to play for about 3 hours with no issue. Now I can't play more than 5 - 15 minutes at a time and i get booted to the login screen. No errors whatsoever pop up.
I am on the PC NA server.

I was asking in chat a few times if anyone else was having the problem and a few other people were saying they were experiencing it as well.

Same here been happening for the last 3 hours - get disconnected every 20 minutes or so. No error message just kick to log in screen. PC EU

There are three troubleshooting steps below that can help improve your connection preventing some of the disconnections that are happening.

• Configure your router to open the following outbound ports:
  • TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
  • TCP / UDP Ports 24300 through 24331
  • TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
  • TCP Port 80
  • TCP Port 433
• Update the firmware of your router (it is always a good step to take, as it prevents that an outdated firmware interferes on your connection).
• Try to put your modem/router far from all electrical devices and do not coil up any excess signal or power cables (to eliminate possible interference problems).

I dunno about anyone else, but i have tried all of those things and nothing is helping. I've also tried repairing the game, disabling add-ons and checking my connection speed as well as a few other things on my end. ESO is the only game or service that I am having any kind of problems like this with.

Also the issue doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes I can play for hours and then other times I can't remain logged in and playing for more than 5 - 15 minutes at a time before getting booted to the login screen, which will also last for hours.

These 0815 steps dont help if the servers are crap, ive got random DC`s in EU peak times (PvX), kickback to login screen with 304, and no my Inet wasnt disconnected.

Keep getting disconnected to login screen myself and with a message about needing an active account to play. Didnt have this issue last week, started this weekend and only thing i've changed is getting the Elsweyr expansion.

Im in the EU too btw.

Been getting disconnected too. If the game thinks I'm "inactive", it boots me within less than a minute, and I get an error message. This happens even when I'm creating a new character, on both servers. Got this problem ever since the new EP came out and crashed my game.

I keep getting these disconnects as well. Seems to be varied between 5 minutes from logging back in to almost an hour. I am getting no indication at all for any lag so whatever is happening is sudden as I instantly lose control of my character and it boots me to the login screen. Latest instance was when I had logged in, went to the Cloth working station in Davon's Watch and it kicked me to the login screen like when you go afk.

I have ruled out that it is my ISP as I have other people that are able to play with no issues. I've logged on their computer and still got disconnected so it seems to be something with my account or characters. I have turned off all addons, repaired the files via steam twice, have had no issues with connecting to the internet, and made a support ticket which is still over 24 hours with no response.

This has become very frustrating as this has never happened until this Elsweyr update. Every time we get an update it just adds more crashes and random issues which is getting very frustrating now.

Chiming in with the same issue here.
Disconnects happen anywhere from every 15 minutes to a couple hours.
My character cannot interact with anything for a minute and then it bumps me back to log in screen. Does not matter where my fps or ping are at.
No error messages.
Tried all the suggested actions.
Though it has happened to me a few times before, it really seems to have ramped up this past week or so.

Same issue here, playing on PC EU. Happened during the Anniversary Event at first, though not nearly as often. Then the problem went away for some time, but after the Elsweyr DLC came out it's back again more than ever.
