Can we get mount speed increase a little please?

After 5 years, the game has become, in many aspects, horse simulator in PvE (also in PvP running from keep to keep) with quests, dailies, crafting surveys, treasure maps, farming and, of course, the huge amount of events we get yearly, where we are running from here to there all the time.

And, at least to me, my mount feels kind of slow even with Rapids (at least that it could really sprint faster).

So, since we spend so much time riding our mounts daily, can we please get speed increase in, I don't know, 10%, 15% or 20%?

Or maybe add it to the stable to continue upgrading speed from 60 to 70, 80 or so?

I wouldn't mind a little extra speed in the original horse riding simulator: Cyrodiil.

The game can barely load itself in at the speed we can ride at now. You get much faster and you'll be riding your horse on ones and zeros.

I played Red Dead Redemption 2. ESO is far from being that horse riding simulator.

...I also don't want more riding points to train. They take ages already! But having Rapid Maneuver working on the backbar would be nice.

With Rapid Maneuver I think it is fine where it is.

Can we also get Major Gallop automatically applied while we're in Cyro so we can slot something more useful than rapids now that it's nerfed?

Revert the changes to Ward of Cyrodiil or change the 3 piece back to its previous bonus.

Horses should be faster than characters, although I agree the game is already struggling to load at current speeds

I havern't been back on red dead 2 for a while, but, oh my goodness, I lost count of all the trees, rocks and cliffs that killed/crashed my mount...even with the wagon wheel transit system they have, still required lots of riding...at least the environment is beautiful I guess...

The Steed Mundus and Swift trait should apply to mount speed. Then you could choose to invest in more speed at the expense of other stats.

I rather they improve cell loading speed, I always stuck because my game cannot finish loading terrain in time.

There are still complaints about speed?

Mundus and traits don't apply to mounts.

Do you have Rapids up?

If you don't, do the intro quest for Cyrodiil and unlock the skill. PC has an addon that auto switches out the skill.

I might be wrong but wasn't the riding speed faster a few years ago but was reduced once or twice?

I think it's ok where it is when you max it out. Without any upgrades you need rapids (but it's sluggish).

when you start at ride speed 1 it actually moves slower than your character wth

I'm pretty sure that they reduced mount speed at some point. I've been maxed on mount speed for ages and a few patches back, it seemed to decrease, and has never gone back up. I bet they did that to counter the lag in cyro but with the reduced max pop of the new campaigns, maybe they will put it back up again.
