Quit Running Away Banker!

I appreciate that the banker wants to stay out of the way, but please stop running away just as I am about to select you to interact. Really annoying.

Infuriating isn't it. You have to smash in to him to stop him running past you as you back and forth trying to get interaction. Then you go into your inventory and when you come out he's gone and you can't find him. Also I wish they had the double arrow over his head so that you're not trying to interact with someone else's banker in a crowded city.

Why does he move around in the open world 3 seconds after summoning him, but in houses where that sort of behavior might actually be immersive instead of annoying, he simply stands there (as he should in open world areas). Anchor this fool to the ground when summoned or at least allow me to kill him so his corpse will lie still. I assume I can still get my crap off him while he's dead and motionless.

In Mournhold in the crafting houses he stands right by the door so if you rush exit you end up interacting with him instead.

I think they should just remove the mechanic where it kicks you out of the bank/merchant screen when an assistant walks away.

Try picking his "Master" chest. He pays attention then!

It has actually gotten worse since the last patch. Now as soon as it spawns it almost runs right past you. What is the point to this behaviour??!?

Yeah now him and the merchant just stroll right past you and you can't interact with them until they're good and ready. Pretty annoying waste of time, however minimal, adds up.

They are being passive aggressive about the fact that you don't pay them a dime to work, except that one time payment toward their slave master, ZOS.

If your character that summoned him is a fat orc in a wedding dress, the banker running away is working as intended.

He sometimes beams away too. That is even more annoying, especially when it happens after you seam to successfully select him.

What's worse is when you summon him, open your bank, then immediately after he decides to move, kicking you out of your bank. Like, really? Can't have at least done it before I opened my bank up?

This has become standard Zos signature. Creating annoyance for annoyance sake.

The banker used to pop out and just stand there, now he immediately starts moving upon summoning

The warden bear used to return to a spot behind the character after a fight, now it moves right on top of the character just to block you from looting without moving.

Books are placed directly on tables that you interact with, so instead of opening the crafting, you get the book pop up.

Chairs are placed next to interactive NPCs so you try to sit and open a dialog instead

You have the strength to kill a giant but a 5 inch tall stone completely blocks you

You can walk through 1000 Pcs as if they are not there, but an NPC is a stone wall that you must go around

Its all intentional. They made CHANGES just to make these things the annoyance that they are now. It's someone in Zos getting their jollies just irritating the players because they know these are all minor issues and players would not quit over them.

Expect more. It's the signature of this game.

How many times have you gotten nailed for stealing because a quest NPC takes so long to phase in and you click on something stealable by mistake instead? Shouldn't sting operations be illegal?

I punish mine for his insolence occasionally by making him run a dolmen of my choice in Alik'r during zerg prime time on a weekend.

I personally don't enjoy it very much, but my banker visibly enjoys it much much less, and that makes me happy.

No, I'm not joking, and yes, it does help me to feel better about the 5K crowns I spent for a disrespectful and borderline useless assistant.

Of course. I mean, I have been known to accidentally steal packs of bubble gum off the counter at the gas station when really mean to just say "hello, I need to pay for my gas on pump 3".

I'm pretty sure the merchant/banker used to just teleport around. Now they run instead, so I guess it's fixed.
