Question regarding graphic settings

Hey,
are reflexions and Shadow more on the gpu or CPU side or do they differ?
Also does Thing that Makes e.g. Wall of Elements Like "Heating" , is it GPU or CPU? In German its called "Verzerrungen"
Thing is, I do have a rtx 2080 and a i5 9600k OC at 4,6ghz, actually both are good, but GPU IS of course Superior. So for cyro / raids I wanna reduce the load ob the CPU, thats WHY I ask Here, thanks.
