severe fps drops with a high end computer.
hello.
i've recently build a new computer with a i7 9700k - rtx 2080 - 250gig nvme ssd and 8 gigs (bit low but should be enough for eso) of 3k mhz ram.
the issue that i'm having is that every few minutes in a random zone just by looking at a distance my fps drops from 80-90 to as low as 20 and turning my settings down from everything maxed out to shadows off/water reflections off it ends up raising my fps just by a measly 24. (running game on 1920-1080 resolution)
i've noticed quite alot of topics about performance issues in ESO and i can understand fps drops in citys (weird thing is that in citys with 50 people spamming skils with all setting maxed out my fps stays above 60) so i'm really wondering if this is a game related issue or is a 1.8k euro computer not enough to handle 20+ fps while having my entire view blocked by a low textured trunk of a tree ?
all my drivers are up to date and when looking at afterburner..everything seems to be working correctly so i'm quite curious what this is since ontop of the constant lag in pvp wich makes me only do pve content while now having to deal with such huge fps drops when looking at a simple tree, wall etc makes questing and exploration quite an unimmerive experience aswell.
