Why doesn't a Free Trial of ESO+ Add Slots to Housing for the week?

I'd try exiting to the login screen and signing back in next. That would then make it irrelevant where you were when you activated the trial and every interface should be updated.

It does allow that.

You just can't add anything more once the trial is over until the house is back below the original non ESO+ limit, just like with the Bank slots. Actually ESO+ members get the functionality or changing their houses, but if you just care about cosmetics of having a full house, fill 'er up!

I say this as the proud owner of a non-subscriber with a house full of items well over the non-ESO+ limit.

Not fair? That's totally allowed by the trial, just like stuffing my crafting bag full of a years worth of crafting writ supplies.


OP, I have to log out and log back in before my trial takes effect after I activate the offer.

I think it’s fair to trial the double furnishings (and yes, you do get that in the trial). You get to experience the fabulous wonder of a fully-furnished house, and after the trial is over, you will be bitterly disappointed that you can move nary a single furnishing item. It works because I’ve been there

That said: I personally would not object to + trials including furnishing space.

To be fair, if it's a trial it should include what's included in ESO+. Just sayin'. I was an ESO+ Subscriber from Day one until last November so don't talk to me about having to pay. I've paid, and then some by buying more crowns. It allows you to fill the craft bag so why not the houses?

Well I hadn't tried again this time round and I guess I must not have logged out during the last free week and it wouldn't let me so I just assumed it wouldn't let me this time.
