Not a bug. Some of the male costumes are the same way.

Zomg yes!! Thank you for pointing this out!!

I hate crown store outfits that don't completely color match properly. *grumbles*

Yeah, not a bug, some undyable parts are designed that way.
I'm way more salty about the way it dyes... blacks are greys and deep golds are pale yellow :disappointed: Whyyy....

The dev in charge of the color assignment must be colorblind, i cant explain else how the colors are that *** up.
    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

Im always a bit paranoid about choices made by a company trying to make money. How are they trying to make the most profit with the least amount of work or how are they trying to get you to make multiple purchases aka "build the basket". A part of me is convinced that they want to sell dye packs and so they make the normal free dyes less than ideal for new costumes. And the only way to get the color you want is to purchase the dye packs.

It's much more common with the "gold" parts on other costumes. You might want those as "silver" to complement blues, but don't get the option. The same happens with some leather parts, which stay stubbornly brown.

Oh I only used the above garish color scheme to highlight the parts that won't dye. I would never want my character to look like that for real. ;)

Eh, it's more likely lack of forethought/"laziness"/not caring - they pick surface materials & colors to make the default costume look nice/how they want it to.... and just don't consider how the other dyes will look.

Old quote I saw somewhere - "Never ascribe to malice, that which is adequately explained by incompetence." o:)

Thanks for the info! I was wondering how well this gown dyed. I bought the other two gowns and they dye okay although some of the colors don't look like the same color on them. I'm thrilled the necklaces can be dyed. Overall I'm happy with how they dye even though I won't be able to use some colors on them. I'll probably buy the Crystal Tower Sapiarchs’ Gown even though the part that's white won't dye.
