Week 5 starts tomorrow at 3pm BST.

Friendly reminder to make sure you grab writ dailies on all characters before the reset tonight so you can get double writs and double reward boxes. I've done it on all my characters.

week 3 and 4 have been a drought on reward event boxes, so make the most of this final week.

The reward boxes haven't been too rewarding, at least in my case, to matter. The best thing I've gotten, by far, was a single gold temper.

Not one style page or motif.

I've bought all my styles with event tickets or gold.

Yeah I know what you mean. I did 3 pledges before and just got basic stuff, nothing worth writing home about. Still it's free stuff so I can't complain. It just feels like it's not worth the effort. But really looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully cashing in again like I did on week 1

This is going to bring a final breath of fresh air to an event that is definitely running stale. The grind is real and painful. I have all but given up on completing Sai's collection by running pledges, but that is fine. I got the pages I wanted at least, and can justfarm/trade/buy the missing ones on this last week. Going to take a break from ESO for sure, and already been spending far less time online lately.

Drop rates / RNG are still a joke. 760 boxes opened, not one Worm cult page. Not one. Ridiculous.

Ive probably done about 200 boxes so far this year. this is normally my favorite event, but its rather boring this year. You have to jump through a lot more hoops for a lot worse prizes Last year, even with all the server nonsense, i did just over a thousand boxes and ended up with over 150 motif pages.

This year i probably have gotten about 20 motif pages, and had to work far harder for those. So i havent been playing near as much because i dont have 1-2 hours per character to run them through pledges a day. Been getting a lot of other stuff done this year though outside of the game.

During week 5 do pages drop from the same reward boxes as previous weeks? Example Sia sahon only from dungeons and trials or is this available say from daily writ boxes?

I managed to get a whole 2 pieces of Sai motif as rewards and used 5 tickets to get a third. I will have enough tickets for two more, so I’ll hope to pick up the remaining 3 crafting for 77 boxes a day and can buy anything left at guild traders. I think I can stop worrying about it now.

Ran my healer and tank for 2 pledges each, hence 4 boxes a day.
Ended up with 2 Sai style pages.

Yes our servers where down, but no - just no - it has been long enough.

Also wasn't the worst of this during the undaunted week; so you miss what 1 or 2 pledges and so 1 or 2 boxes?
I have run this as often as I can this week and lost count of how many boxes opened without any outfit drop.
The additional materials are nice enough but not worth extending the event for.

All style pages drop from all dailys. I feel bad for whoever paid for any style page till after this week. I will be getting 560 boxes this week from writs. I am sure many other players will too, it is going to tank all style page prices.

I stoped at 50 because i got no motif at all.

What time does it reset? So we grab the writs today before reset and do them but don't turn them in until after the reset (tonight or tomorrow?), then we can immediately get them again and get event boxes for the ones done the day before when we turn them in?

I came to give OP an awesome, just for the LOTR quote in the thread title.

(Now if Amazon will come through, we will have more of this wonderful world to enjoy. Wish someone would buy the Silmarillion rights and make movies. So tired of super hero movies.)

Also, have they changed the way daily writs work? I had writ quests from last week that I finally did, but when I handed them in, no new quests appeared for me for the new day (which was 3 or 4 days after the ones I turned in). Is this a bug, or have they changed things?

Today's dailies were likely the same you picked up last week. It only works if the new quests are different ones.

That's why it's usually best to pick them up on the previous day, because you never get the same writs two days in a row.

Today's dailies were likely the same you picked up last week. It only works if the new quests are different ones.

Got all my characters ready to go, pre-loaded with all the weapons/armor/jewels/glyphs/food/potions for 9 days worth of writs (Yeah I know it's only 8-days left in the event, but I didn't have to worry about which sequence it started with this way). Will log in tonight to pick up all the writs and start the cycle tomorrow of login + turn in + logout + repeat on my 12 characters.

Reset and changing of which dailies are awarding jubilee boxes happen 8 hours apart. Reset is at 6 AM UTC and week 5 does not start until 2 pm UTC. So DO NOT turn them in immediately after reset. You have to wait at least 8 hours AFTER dailies reset.
