Collect Wednesday dailies, but don't turn them in

Any dailies you collect right now on Wednesday like crafting, PvP, or Delves will count when it rolls over for Week 5 event on Thursday. Also remember to use your Cake buff next Wednesday before the event ends to refresh your exp buff back to 2 hours because when the event ends it won't provide the exp buff anymore, but any you have left over you get to keep until it expires.

So pick them up and do them but don’t turn them in, then when it rolls over, turn them in and the new ones will be available to pick up?

Undaunted delve daily - as above
Clockwork city squarky birdy quest - as above
Crafting on 14 EU apprentices and 5 US apprentices - done
Elsweyr prologue completed to unlock dallies on two apprentices - done

And that is quite enough to keep this one busy thankyou!

Correct, dailes always work like that but its most relevant for crafting quests as they are very fast but also limited to 7 on each character.

Make me wonder if crafting quests can be shared? It rotates between 3-4 different quests after all.
