Groups, leadership, kicks, and quests.

Short story (will try)
You go in dungeon. You have quests to do. Most of them include long RP dialog before you pick/ continue. PPL in pugs mostly dont read/ or wait. Grp rush forward, you are far behind waiting for quest ncp tirada to over to progress quest. You pick it and catch up with the grp (YAY). Your party kill the last boss. PPL leave. You get 30 sec kick timer (last man in dungeon) and you get kicked before npc are "usable".

Sugesstion. Why not make leadership aouto pass to a random person when leader leave ?
Why not remove kick timer from grp dungeons/for the last person standing ?
It stupid to wait 1/2 1h for dungeon just to finish the quest and to get kicked 5 seconds before be able to do so ?
I`m sure i`m not the only one who expirienced this. I`m sure there was a lots of sugesstions send to ZoS.
I dont see the reason why they not change it?

    My advice would be that if you are doing the dungeons for the quests/skill points, it's better to go in with a friend so you don't get auto kicked

    I always write in grp chat "i need quest" before we get started, and people were always waiting. At least after the last boss, and often even the whole team. But yes the timer is absolutly unnecessary.

    Long time asked, long time ignored by ZOS. Would be easy to solve, though.

    I have decided that one of the things my guild is going to do in the very brief window between the Anniversay end and the launch of Elsweyr is to do the quests on all of the dungeons.

    We’re going to go slowly through them all, doing all the dialogue and, obviously, slaughtering anything that gets in our way.

    36 skill points all round, a far better understanding of each dungeon and hopefully a completely different playing experience.

    Should be a blast.

    Leadership does pass down if the leader leaves, but you're correct the last person in shouldn't get the kick timer. Worth noting that if you solo the dungeon, there is no timer for obvious reasons :)

    As said above, say upfront in the Group chat that you need quest and I think at least one person will wait, if not all.

    There's no need to wait. Simply staying grouped does the trick. I never ungroup at the end of a normal dungeon, I simply port to wherever I need to go and let others ungroup at their own pace.

    This, also say before last boss in case people forget.

    Granted this week is not the best for dungeon quests, lots do pledges for the event boxes and people run randoms to level.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    While I don't see ZoS changing this, why would they? There is no money in it for them, and if they did care about stability or QoL fixes, then there is a huge backlog that they should fix before this issue.

    Most if not all quests introduced from a DLC or Expansion, has quick quests that mainly require the player to kill bosses, so they did change this for future content.
