May Daily Rewards

Well my necro will be rolling in the xp , storing the scrolls at this point since almost at 900 chump points that will never be unlocked so no need to use those scrolls atm

I highly doubt that we're getting back the previous log in rewards. We're going to be stuck with these type of rewards. I don't mind too much, as it just means I don't feel the pressure to log into the game. At the start of the daily rewards, I would even log in during vacations abroad (brought my laptop) to claim the rewards. Now I can skip most of the days without feeling like I lost something valuable.

I don't fully understand the marketing department over there. I'm not a professional within the field, but with my limited understanding on the subject, I would imagine that more people logged in back when the rewards were more valuable.

WTH will I do with so many riding skill books? my mounts are 60/60/60 on chars I am using for ages ...
Sadly these are very bad rewards, camel is ugly, exp scrolls got like 60 of them stored...Ammount of alliance pts and gold is just a joke as for tri stat potions ok it will help to save my mats, poisons - I don't use them got like 1,6k would need to check, crown store food is a joke ...

Well a free mount or pet every month is pretty amazing if you ask me. And on top of this we have event tikets that are at this point arguably daily rewards.

As far as the marketing team goes, it’s clear that the early ‘bigger bonus’ daily rewards were as much to get us accustomed to the hideous login click screen and its Crownstore ads as anything else. Now we’ve become used to it, they can dial down the gifting.

That said, this month’s rewards make a pile of sense.

Riding lessons will be perfect for everyone’s new necro characters (and are a tacit admission that the whole pony training thing is a massive pita that needs to be shortened or removed), and a free mount to go with them.

The rest are great for newer players, especially the tristat potions.

By this point we all have enough poison thanks.

Well that's lucky...in a round-about way. I'm highly unlikely to get the one exclusive thing this month (especially since it seems like it's a few days later than normal) but it's a camel and I can't stand the way your character is jerked around when riding them so I probably wouldn't use it anyway.

(And yes I know it's realistic, but I couldn't stand being jerked around by a real camel either.)

By 'valuable rewards' most people seem to mean free crown crates and I can imagine those backfired from a marketing perspective with people who would buy crates anyway waiting to see what they got from the free ones and then buying less if they got some of the stuff they wanted or gems, and some other people getting put off because they didn't get anything good from the free crates and could only conclude they'd get a similar result from paid crates, meaning it would be a waste of money.

While I can understand your point of view, I don't fully agree with it. Crown crates can become an addiction, and it's a good idea to give a couple for free here and there, to get people hooked on it. I can't speak for others, but haven't bought any crown crates since the removal of them in daily rewards. I did buy a few during the earlier daily rewards, because I opened up one or two free crates, and I had an itch to try again.

1. It gave a stronger incentive for people to log in.
2. It gave some value to the daily rewards.
3. It introduced people to Crown Crates, and people who normally wouldn't get into contact with them, did so with the free crates.
