WHY IS THE PTS SO *****

i have downloaded the pts patch 4 times and now its trying to download the hole pts agian.
as i live in Aus this is a big problem.
Some of my friends are having they own problems with the pts.
it's hard to get poeple on the pts and its going to be even worse if the small amout of poeple that do wanna test the pts cant

When I saw it happen on the Summerset PTS it was because the download mirror was missing some of the files (The initial PTS download is one huge multi-part zip file). And for some reason when one of the files fails, the launcher redownloads all the other files from scratch, even after logging that it verified their hashes as correct. It's badly coded.

I think it worked the next day. The mirror must have been updated/corrected, or it went to a different one.

Yeah, agreed. The PTS is a very rough creature, even under the best of circumstances. In particular, things like trial testing can be very tricky if you're wanting to get a full group up and going. There's also some pretty serious bugs that pop up on there sometimes. It's not a finished product, and I'm sort of dreading the inevitable saltstorm when the Necros start getting hit with a nerfbat. But, here we are.
