GPU Usage increase since last maintenance.

Since the last patch my GPU usage has increased causing higher temps on my GPU. Before patch even in populated areas was only using about 35-45% GPU. Now its running between 65-80% GPU even in populated areas. Running a GTX1080. I am not seeing any issues with frames just the game is requiring more usage from my GPU. Did something change to cause this?
