I’ll comment more when I wake up, but it’s important to remember not to look at this data in a funnel.

You should take into account factors outside of the CP system when placing points such as:
1) what is the meta/popular right now
Ex. There was a point in time where light & heavy attacks were hitting for 20k, this time has passed, so you shouldn’t have a lot of points into that type of damage reduction even if it scales well. Instead you should have a few points to reduce that damage because it’s generally part of every class/characters dps rotation; although not always attainable during lag.

2) what does your build need or what is it lacking?
Ex. Regeneration, resource sustain, etc...

3) what will help you achieve your goal of winning a fight, faster
Ex. Because I have major defile, I place a large number of points into befoul because it assist me with accomplishing my objective faster because my opponent can not heal as well & draw out the fight.
