Percentage of mitigation based on resistances

Does anyone exactly know how much damage percentage mitigation you get for the amount of resistances you have? Console pleb here so we don’t have such fancy add-ons. I’m curious as to how much resistances equal 1% of damage mitigation

godchucknzilla✭✭✭33000 resist = 50 percent damage mitigation max.
So divide 33000 by 50 and you get 660.
1 percent mitigation = 660 resists.2 -

✭✭✭✭✭Side note; while raising resistance above 33000 doesn't increase mitigation it is subject to penetration.
What I mean is if you have 40k resistance and your opponent had 5k penetration, your resistance is 35k and still get the max mitigation5
