[VID] Clearing out the Campers!! Protecting the Questers

I'd love to tell you that I never killed a quester during this week... but that would be a lie. What I can tell you, however, is that I never "door camped" ... which is to say, I never killed questers as they were going through a door in a quest hub.

But i DID, however, take out some groups that WERE doing that!

For those of you who experienced PvP for this first time this week and had a really bad time, I do apologize. Although you might have been miserable, I would point out that you were made miserable BECAUSE of other people's actions. So... allow me to be the first person to show you one of the greatest joys of PvP - defeating opponents that really have it coming.

Some of the trolls would literally be at it for hours just going back to whichever town to get in the building everytime they wipe and do it again. Kept seeing same players over and over when I would go and grab the next character to do quests on. They really didn't have anything else to do I guess?

I mean, if we went through a town, I'm sure we nailed some questers but certainly didn't go for that. I chuckled at the thought of pissing people off to where I could have easily trolled some but there are much better fights to be had than just hanging out in one spot let alone sitting in a house spamming aoes and siege, let alone make sure we have a decent group comp.

When I did the PvP event a couple of months ago, I chose a non-CP campaign and did my business in the off hours. No problems with groups of griefers, or even solo gankers who were looking to ruin someone's day.

For those that choose the busier campaigns and can only log in at or around peak hours, I'm glad there are people like you who can help. For people who do not PvP, but who need the event rewards, this can be a very frustrating few days.

However, as I noted, if you are only there to be in and out for the daily, there is a less painful way to get the reward. In doing that, you get to avoid the crowd that takes sport in picking off fresh, inexperienced meat.

But I thought that was impossible. Nice fight. Kudos for helping your teammates. I'd love to see more of this open world with small groups helping to clear out opposition small groups from resources more often.

- they didn't come close to dying instantly

What else can I say besides GOOD JOB. I am really glad not all PvPers turned to being ... well don't want this topic to be locked so won't write. I just can't stop seeing my char being wrecked by 10 shooting stars right after entering bruma Chapel.

Curious what your AP tick was afterwards?

I had received a 25k tick after killing a solo desync blade that had been harassing people for awhile at vlas...so I’m guessing clean up crew likely cleaned up more than the “Farmers”

Duuuuude I had no idea what you were talking about at first lol. Then I rewatched that fight and there’s definitely an EP about half way through that wanders straight into the middle of that and holds block on his 2h bar.

Of all the places on the server to stand, he managed to find himself into the absolute worst place, caught between two enemy factions and taking hits from both.

Dudes a champ imo.

The wins can take a while... this group killed me as a solo 3 times before I called up the squad.

But when you get that win... it feels damn good.
