I will not post the video because most here has seen it. The point of this post is to discuss what was his main criticisms that has been improved and what has not.

His criticism about not enough gold from enemies have been improved
The leveling system has been improved.
Sharing quests has mostly been improved, grouping too
housing
stealing/killing
more unique items
zone guide
a better community

Here are things that still need to be fixed
performance
stuck in wall bug especially Crypt of Hearts 2 dungeon
flickering in the world '
some enemies just stand there while you attack them. I noticed this especially when the giant Sinmur just stood there not moving while you kill him

lol, he may be off his mojo starting 3 years ago. He had valid criticisms about this game. I still watch him as pure comedy these days

Angry Joe is one guy with an opinion, just like everyone else.

The only difference between him, you, or me is the way he marketed himself. Histrionics, and hitting the right notes for a niche social media crowd gained him popularity with those people. It gained him viewers, and some people think that large numbers somehow translate to his opinion being more valid than others.

Try not to be fooled by the dancing clowns of social media.

For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen. - Douglas Adams

It is a rare mind indeed that can render the hitherto non-existent blindingly obvious. The cry 'I could have thought of that' is a very popular and misleading one, for the fact is that they didn't, and a very significant and revealing fact it is too. - Douglas Adams

I still watch Angry Joe as I know he's going to be well; angry. There are a lot of video game reviewers who buy into the hype, and he does as well; but always manages to still point out flaws or possible issues. I'm sure there are others that do that as well but I know where AJs are and its still entertaining even if I'm not interested in the game to begin with

The only video game reviewer I trust is myself. I am the only one who knows what I like and don't like.

I watched that Angry Joe review because of the hype it got and wondered what game he was reviewing. I think I watched about 2 or 3 minutes before I turned it off. Sure, every game has reasons to criticize, but his view was too one sided.

Quite frankly he does not have viewers because his reviews are insightful and informative, its because he bashes everything.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Some things have improved since beta, but I was surprised to see some of the bugs still being around. Example, quest items & npcs not being instanced per person if you're doing the same quest. So you have to camp the spawn area for those items. Cyrodiil crashing because the servers can't handle a zerg. He also pointed out long loading times especially going pve to pvp. Going through walls and through the map because of a bug and then dying. Finding a sort of "hole" in the map and ending up in what looks like limbo. Difficulty too easy in fighting overland mobs / bosses for the story quests. Having to use add-ons to improve simple things in the game like UI. I think stuff such as the questing has improved with OneTamriel regarding questing with people on other factions, and gold find / rewards I suppose is better than in his videos.

And I have fought him on 10 characters, both in vet and in One Tamriel and he was quite mobile and hostile.

Strange. I decided to not post it in the bug report section because they dont fix base game content that isn't game breaking.

I want to say with AngryJoe, the turning point was his ACM review. That game broke him. By the time he got to ESO he was already starting to slip.

    Amen.

Cannot get is some times, how our opinion doesn't worth who play and pay for the game 5y now, and some joker who just looks at it a week (if that) after 5 years, who's living is put a video on youtube, has a more worthy opinion.

That imho goes to many ESO youtubers posting builds. Some of them are cut off from the average player abilities to make things work, yet they are used by everyone as an example how to "be better". Regardless that nobody adds a small print that you need to spend the next XY hours on the dummy to perfect your skills.

And that goes to damage dealers tbh. That is why the dps of the average players has collapsed the last year more so than ever, because the majority is "peer pressed" to use equipment like Relequen and AY, without understanding how they actually work. Completely dismissing more simple stuff like Briarheart with Leviathan that would greatly boost the average player DPS, without much effort.

For pure gaming reviews, Worthabuy is a better alternative. Brutally honest but also very funny. But AngryJoe's reviews excellent as well, love the comedic value.

Of course he stands still if you use the mechanic the game tells you to use, if you found all parts before you do the fight. It's designed that way. But, until you apply that mechanic, he's mobile. Skip to 21:49.

To be fair, there's a long history of this in ESO. How many tanks run Alkosh because, "that's the tank set," without any idea how it works, and get zero value from the set? Or of course the recent love affair with Siroria, in spite of it being a very difficult set to run in endgame content.

The one that still cracks me up was the butchered Mother's Sorrow/Acuity build that was going around for awhile after CWC came out.

Because the majority doesn't understand its role(DD) as a whole. They break when they are confronted with anything than tank&spank bosses, which are extremely rare by now. Relequen is a fine example, that set is only "good" for said bosses... or parses on the dummy.

Are you guys referring to Angry Joe's review of this game from five years ago or to a recent video he's made of this game commemorating its five-year anniversary?

Because I just visited his YouTube page and couldn't find the latter at all. :o

EDIT: Oops, never mind. This was just answered a few posts above. :)

I can agree with performance, but stuck in wall bug coh2 ? Who cares... there are more important things. The same happens in CoS but you can avoid it when you use better positioning.
No "flickering" in my world
Sometimes and very very rare broken ai in enemies.... ??? Really? That's it xD? My f button is crying in agony because it is not mentioned!
What about loading screens of doom ? Dungeon finder qq mini game? Different trial instances when porting and not able to form a 12ppl premade grp? You are missing the point or are pointing out minor stuff. Therefore take this gif.

Now the important part .... if they don't ***** up the microtransactions/Crown store and try to be fair with it.... ESO will have a good future. At least in my opinion. They improved alot and also the game itself.
