Maw of Lorkhaj

I've recently been reading more about Lorkhan prepping for Elyswer hoping to find out more about Masser and Secunda/ Jone and Jode. I remembered that the Khajiit call Lorkhan, Lorkhaj and then completely remembered the trial. As you probably know it's hard to get 11 people to wait for you while you listen to the lore. So I was wondering if someone would mind telling me what exactly we are doing? I understand a little that the Dro M'athra are like ghost/spirit Khajiit. But how does this pertain to Lorkhan. Is it just his temple or does the Maw have more meaning?

Looks like the main quest page doesn't have detailed info yet, but there is dialog recorded on Adara'hai's page.
