i feel i get too much of daily rewards

i start having a few stacks of potions/poisons and i gather a lot of stuff in more quantity than i spend it. And simply "destroying it" is a cheap solution. Spreading it across all my characters may be a solution, but are these rewards intended for more than one character? if so, how many?

i don't use poisons faster than i get them. Not crafting poisons anymore.
i don't need potions faster than i get them. Not crafting potions anymore.
i don't need to repair my gear more often than i get repair kits. Not needing base game kits anymore.
i don't use exp scrolls faster than i get them. The duration doesn't go off before i get other ones.
i don't use food faster than i get it (applies for tanks or pvpers mostly, i suppose).
can't think of more for now, i think this is all.

free stuff is always nice, sure, to make the game easier. But my question is why they give so much free stuff? They reward you for logging in daily, so much that you can avoid those chores. Maybe it's just me, i play 2-3 hours daily on average on a total of 8 characters, but i go back to the start of the post. I think those should be toned down to make players "want" them so much that they buy them from the Crown Store, or for alchemy, repair kits, exp scrolls, to become more important.

Tbh the daily rewards aren't giving as much as they used to, one month last year gave nearly 9 crates i believe now every month since 2019 started basically 0 crates a month but atleast a pet sometimes but not all the time

Love how people always want rates yet when they gave creates these same people complained that zos us "trying to get them addicted " honestly the rewards are not bad considering most of us are logging in anyhow.

Unless they nerf the original methods of getting supplies, I'm fine with it. But also realize they are buffing all the crown stuff so that it matches the crafted pots. Somehow there's no p2w outrage. I don't mind, but I thought it would be a popcorn thread and instead no one cares.

Love the repair kits and food for my PVE characters, especially the repair kits for when you get jacked up in the middle of a vet trial/DLC dungeon PUG. Save all the XP scrolls for when I am creating a new character, which saves a lot of time. Poisons, ehh, fairly useless. Potions are pretty decent, not as good as something you can make, but saves you from running through mats. With pots and poisons, you can always destroy them and not feel bad about it, too.

One you missed was the instant research time scrolls and mount research scrolls. Both are great.

If you are logging in daily, then yes, you will be swimming in the daily rewards. However, not everyone has that amount of free time. Excess to you may be just the right amount for someone else.

They are making their money off crates, motifs, and to a lesser extent prestige housing and flash sales. Dailies, with their consumable rewards, are designed to get you into the Cash Shop on a regular basis. It is a daily habit, with a feel-good reward, that increases the chance you'll buy crates or some other hot ticket item.

If the dailies aren't worth the effort to claim them, there will be a reduction of foot traffic into the Cash Shop. Less people through the door = less chances of higher sales.

It is a rare mind indeed that can render the hitherto non-existent blindingly obvious. The cry 'I could have thought of that' is a very popular and misleading one, for the fact is that they didn't, and a very significant and revealing fact it is too. - Douglas Adams
