PVP Perfected Trials Gear

I think with all of this equality of experience talk; I would like to put out on the table for us to get perfected PvE items from PvPing. What kind of sets would you like to see? Anything unique?
Maybe a vendor with buyable monster helms that are not rng for say 1 million AP when not in the golden. It would only be fair.... since we don’t like PvEing.

Progressively better weapons that unlock at certain higher PvP ranks, similar to the Level Reward system. Made Captain? Choose a Hel Ra Citadel weapon. Finally got your first star? How about a perfected weapon? Grand Overlord? Here's that Maelstrom destro or bow you've always wanted.

Matching jewelry and gear could be offered at alternating ranks from the weapon rewards

Anything to avoid the time-consuming, mindless grind of fighting robots and software in PvE content.

The perfected gear is a just reward for taking the time and putting in the effort to learn some of the hardest PvE content in the game, it would cheapen them greatly if they simply handed them to people who PvP a lot. Want the perfected gear, do the content. Don’t like to PvE? Tough luck. People don’t like PvP either and they do it for the rewards it brings occasionally.

How about something that is a bit more ambitious? How about perfected PvP gear that you actually get from doing top level PvP? Gear that was actually designed specifically FOR PvP, rather than PvE.

Then make its acquisition dependent on doing really critical PvP tasks. Not simply on progression.

Spell Strategist is BIS for almost every Magicka PvE build right now, but PvE players don't have to do jack to "earn" it because it is bind-on-equip like every other PvP set. Why should PvP players have to bend over backwards to get gear we need when it's locked behind PvE content?

I agree that non perfected trials gear should be bind of equip.

I do not see the logic. The current and upcoming "perfected" weapons are useless to PVPers.
So whats the point to grind in PVP for purely PVE gear, which take a lot of patience and specific group and mechanics to obtain?

That will dumb the game further the moment the PVE hard core community, who uses that gear, demands harder content?

Let alone trying to do it through PVP even if they cost 10million AP, they will be exploitable like the Emperor passives.

Perfected weapons are like high-tech graphic tablets.

Just because you get one, doesn't mean you suddenly have the years of practice, the knowledge from studying color theory, shapes, shadow and light, and learning how to apply everything you learned from hard work and experience under your belt. More so if you don't even like anything to do with art and only want said fancy tablet because everyone wants one and it's viewed as a status symbol.

That said, if you do like it and want one because you believe it'll make you a more wanted player, you still need to put in the time to git gud at it. But since you want to get the perfected PvE weapon thru PvP means, doesn't that imply that you loathe targets that just stand there and do nothing and can't think like another fellow human?

So PvP perfected weapons is more likely what Zos will grant you, if they're even entertaining the idea.

    Calling it right now, btw.

    REEEEE I misinterpreted.
I'm all for giving PvP players a bone and giving them more rewards for PvPing, but trial gear from PvP isn't something I agree with.
Maybe 'perfected' versions of some or new PvP sets, with minor bonuses (extra stam/mag/etc).

So extremely difficult trials requiring amazing coordination between 12 people versus just playing a lot of pvp

The problem is that those perfected weapons and other pve sets are made specifically for pvp. It is ZOSs attempt to make pvpers do pve. I'd also prefer to buy those pieces of equipment with AP.

I'd rather they just unbind the stuff so that there's a rigorous "boutique gear" economy for endgame trial runners.

....and so I can buy some gear I can't earn, because I'm a baddie.

Given the whining about the event, pvp seems exponentially more difficult than pve. That amazing coordination just can't seem to get a quest done.

Right? Surely you’d think these “saviors” of nirn could beat a few THICC impen bois with only but dawnbreakers and bloodspawn at their disposal.

Guess we found the true hard mode. Bring your 12 friends.

Just logging in and Zerging you can get 5 stars these days, with Delve buffs. Follow around mindlessly.

Whining? Don't summarize the whole event based on a few forum posts. The PvP reward system is strictly time-based, which can be influenced by a player skill, but ultimately it's about how much time of your life you devote to it (single entity). PvE endgame has the same time devotion, but also has a harder aspect to it: group coordination. In PvP, you can go full solo and still get to max rank. In PvE endgame, you cannot do that. So no, leave the perfected gear to PvE and let PvP'ers get the rewards they play for which is entertainment and the rush of proving their skill against others.

I would love to be able to buy dungeon gear for AP or Gold, not just monster sets.

I dont mind PVE-ing as some of the contect is still enjoyable or can be challenging(BRP vet), but given the choice id rather just pvp for it.
