“Entitled” isn’t the word. Not being targetted for simply doing an event Zos is forcing whilst having no idea how to pvp. To quote a guy on my reddit post: “There is a difference in intent between normal, regular fights between people in the towns, and those *sshats who camp quest givers or barricade themselves in the quest buildings and set up siege and keep AoEs on to door as a denial tactic.”

I somewhat agree lol, no but its a PvP area expect to be ganked but if its anything like yesterday morning when I was on, AD where doing there thing in crops and some EP came by, no one attacked them as they knew why they where here, I feel as long as you roll up to a town and it's not your colour and you don't immediately jump on the first player you see chances are you will be fine

But the 4 DC on the other hand that tried to jump about 20 AD at crops and kept failing, thanks for the free AP

Eso needs more pvp events and an serious over haul of pvp to make it more competitive.
Snowflakes need to just get some impen armour and get over it. Pvp is pretty simple really (when the servers work).

It's odd that so many pvers are complaining though because when they get in numbers they can be just as bad as the gankers. I went to crops today and had 20 of them chase me for so long lol, even when I was just skipping through town with my weapons away.

Yeah, and it's silly.
Who said this was strictly a PvE event. Certainly not Zos, who's tagline for this week's event was "Fight your fellow players"..not "Hey, walk into a town unopposed and do some questing"

I know this is shocking to hear for some PvE players, but people who play PvP farm other players regardless of any event happening. You literally cannot tell a PvE player from a PvP player. Are you getting farmed? Probably...but that's what happens anyway.

The entitlement to think you (in a general sense) get to walk into a PvP zone and think because there's a quest there, that should somehow make you exempt from PvP is mindboggling. The entire zone is there for players to kill other players. If you want zero risk of being killed, this event isn't for you then.

I can understand both sides of the fence. I mean there isn’t a lot of pvp run events hardly any so Pve people have to take good with the bad. It sucks but deal with it just have to chalk it up one week out of the five week event you are going to have a hard time farming motifs.

But also on the other hand people going out of there way to harass pve people and bragging about is a bit of a *** move. It’s like being an adult going to elementary school play ground and beating up kids and then bragging about being a bad ass. But, pve people you all aren’t totally innocent you people also are just as bad running Zerg and killing people off just to farm yourselves. So both sides are not totally innocent.

Personally as a community nothing wrong with people calling a truce for one week in certain areas. Cause let’s face it these areas have nothing to do with Cryodiil war or obtaining Emperor status. Which if memory serves last year I thought there was one called I could be wrong.

It's been crazy and ridiculous from both sides of the fence.

Yesterday a group of PvP'ers working together from all factions decided to camp Cropsford and institute the "Crop Tax" on my server, trying to get PvE'ers to pay them gold so they were "allowed" to do the quests in that town.

While I'm all for fighting opposing players if they decide they want to kickbox with me (either on my tanks or my pvp toons), locking people out of a town unless they pay you, even then with no guarantee is just shady behaviour.

This is where such issues come.

PvE'ers should expect players to come wreck them and plan accordingly. PvP'ers should not do trashy stuff like the above mentioned. Then we can go back to glorious times of wrecking people, doing quests and getting boxes, or wrecking people, taking keeps/resources and having fun

Next week I will chain-run pledge dungeons with two friends and kick every random player with an alliance rank above 20 we get in the group while fighting the last boss.

Play pvp a lot so very used to getting ganked etc BUT was annoyed when attacked by a blue that was hiding in cropsford who waited until I was talking to the npc to launch his attack - that is a cowardly move. Especially as he attracted the guards over as well ☹️
