All Elsweyr Sets List + Discussion: Will you be using them?

So I finished putting together all the pages for the Elsweyr Sets, and overall it seems like a rather mild set of additions this time around.

• Will you be hunting for any of these sets?
• Do you have suggestions for changes or tweaks?

Crafty Alfiq (Light)
Adds lots of Max magicka, but that's it - with the racial passive changes that is less of a deal than it used to.

Vesture of Darloc Brae (medium)
Stealth + Recovery - an interesting idea, perhaps useful in pvp?

Call of the Undertaker (heavy)
Healing set with lifesteal

Senche-raht’s Grit (craft)
Healing and self-buff that seems not that appealing vs other sets available

Vastarie’s Tutelage (craft)
Max Stam/Magicka and resurrection buff.

Coldharbour’s Favorite (craft)
Magicka / Stam and healing proc. Possibly useful in PvP

False God’s Devotion (Trial)
Magicka equivalent of Vicious Serpent

Eye of Nahviintaas (Trial)
A healing set that reduces the cost of abilities. Probably on par with Worm Cult.

Tooth of Lokkestiiz (Trial)
A very good DPS set for Stamina Builds in PvE.

Claw of Yolnakhriin (Trial)
Very good group buff from the tank. Will probably become a meta tank set.

I'm definitely planning to use the new stealth set alongside Nightmother and Night Terror on my Khajiit for the ultimate thief/assassin. I want to steal from a shopkeeper while I'm standing on his head.

Still nothing but 5 piece crap, no armor you level and modify, Ive never seen a mmo with such a basic weapon/armor system at endgame

some Elsweyr set are decent...but mostly a bit uninspired and a bit a disappointment...eh

I may combine Relequen and reworked Essence Thief but can't decide yet. If you can count reworked sets as new, than yes.

I am actually super stoked to try out Darloc Brae for my Nightblade in PvP. I really like the way the set works although I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the 5-piece bonus qualifier to be a bit more restrictive.

Well for magsorcs, Crafty Alfiq is an alternative to Necropotence. Either you combine the two and use blue food, for massive mag in PVE, or you can use it with any other set and now not run pets, but be on the same level as petbuilds - magicka-wise.

The new sets are not that good. My AY and VO is still better than any new stam sets. Like others have said before, for a MMO end game gear is not that good. 5 years later and this is all you can come up with?

the two hybrid craftable sets might be decent, I wish the tutelage set didn't require a rez, but it might have enough stats and recovery to maybe just consider that a bonus

(5 items) When you resurrect an ally, you and your ally gain 258 Weapon and Spell Damage and 10% cost reduction to all abilities for 10 seconds.


and the one with the honorable chicken MIGHT be good,

(3 items) Adds 1096 Max Stamina
(4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(5 Item) -When you heal yourself or an ally, summon Cadwell’s noble mount – Honor - who after 2 seconds, casts a healing spell on you and allies around him that heals for 12,190 Health over 4 seconds.
-When you damage an enemy, summon Cadwell’s noble mount – Honor - who after 2 seconds, explodes, damaging enemies around him for 12,190 Magic Damage over 4 seconds. Honor can only be summoned every 10 seconds.

for pvp that's around 6k over 4 seconds every 10 seconds (so 6 seconds between uptimes) I like that its not overbearing amounts of recovery or damage, but it could easily sway a fight, I imagine having this and shackle breaker is just going to be a solid baseline, pair with a monster set you need to fill the role your going for, enchants and mundus stone shore up any kind of damage, recovery, etc you need, however I don't like that honor does magic damage, would prefer it if it was based on your stats, but whatever.

I like it.

Oh, and pet sorc doesn't need that %racial bonus. They already have ton from Inner light + Shooting star + Bound Aegis.

The lifestealing set would be good without a cooldown. I have no idea why they added that since 600 HP/s on one target is almost less than most vampire’s health regen. Totally useless.

ZoS has some interesting ideas, but the execution often fails.

It's an overland set so it will drop by running around and killing mobs / completing quests / opening chests in Elsweyr.

I just realized that the necro ultimate is perfect for this set. It seems to be a unique effect so it might stack with spell power cure? If so this could be a pretty nitfy healer combo.
