I would love to see the option to "slot" a follower on a skill slot. The follower could work similar to combat pets, where they have a special ability that you can activate. It would be cool to have an assassin, mage, brawler, summoner, healer etc. that follow us around and can join us on quests/adventures. Some of the more rewarding and fun experiences I have had in past Elder Scrolls games was meeting an NPC who then agreed to join me in my travels. Playing with friends is awesome in this game, but I think it would also be cool to have the option to recruit a follower or two ;)

Um. Not interested personally. I never use followers/companions in the SP games. Hate that crap. They're always in the way, they NEVER use appropriate battle strats. In fact, in Skyrim, I got really adept at disabling forced followers so I could just DO THE DAMN QUESTS without them IN THE WAY.

I mean, Serana with res'ing every freaking skeleton, not to mention squirrels.... Nope. HATE IT. Not to mention that necromancers are NOT my idea of fun ever. I did finally find a mod to prevent her doing that - but jeez.... I shouldn't have to have a mod installed to NOT GO THERE.

Nope. Won't be making necros in the next chapter. Not getting any money out of me for necro crap, ZOS.

Now, if it's made available, that's fine. I will just ignore it. All y'all who like that sort of thing can have at it.

Huh, I run around Skyrim with the full 6 followers, I weaken them enough so they aren't killing everything left and right; makes it really enjoyable going into battle with a large party on my side.

You basically want to expand combat pets from sorcs and wardens to everyone. SWTOR has these companions. They allow you to absolutely roll over absolutely everything in the game without so much as health reduction.

With all the complaints about Twilights and bears, you want to add a roster of NPC companions?

I have my doubts that it will ever happen.

you're implying the game isn't already as easy as it is.

i'm all for this idea. they should be disabled in dungeons/trials/pvp/battlegrounds for sure; basically only allowed in overland zones.

Give it time...bit by bit. They will likely add these things once profits begin sliding or staying even. New fluff bit by bit.

Total reverse - no overland & even in dungeons they bugger off out the way when the combat is over, so you can loot and look around without stupid in-your-face on-the-lootable followers,
the NPCs that you have to have during quests are enough to ensure that the sane do not want more :open_mouth:

Serana's squirrels was epic. Remember the two necromancers who chased an killed an rabbit, then attacked me then I wondered that they was doing so they attacked and raised the rabbit. I got so curious trying to figure that one out that they almost killed me so it almost worked.

You have some companions in ESO in various quests. the 5 companions is probably the most famous ones and totally useless, doing 1K dps. The prophet at least heals you making him semi useful.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
