There are many DLCs, now even sales. But r them worth to buy? If ESO plus member, no need to buy, but if no plus member?

Be an ESO+ member for a month or two, tyr them out and buy (what you like) if you dont want to remain subbed with the stipend

Just get plus its way more the $15 worth, I dont see the point in buying any dlc,
I just by chapters + eso plus, if you take a break from the game u can stop and restart it when you come back

ESO plus gives you more then $15 worth, all dlc access, craftbag, free daily items, and 1600 crowns which itself cost $15 the quality of life changes are great, really noticeable improvement of experience.

Well, isn't it too short one month is? to find out all of DLCs.
And if find out, that means already experienced, then why I want to buy DLC after quit ESO plus?

no their small, you can do any content at anytime, hence why spend $60 on dlc when you can do whatever you like with eso plus, what platform are you on?

I'd just buy them with in game gold so don't have to be subbed or feel rushed to complete and can still participate when events come around. But I'm cheap and would rather support the gold buyers.

I think it depends on what you enjoy and how you like to play.

If you're subscribing to ESO+ and confident you're going to keep that up then there's no reason to buy the DLC because you get access anyway. And if you're the type to complete an area in one go then never go back it's probably cheaper to subscribe for a month or two and use that time to complete the DLC.

But for me it's much better to buy the story DLC. I'm not interested in the other ESO+ benefits, and I play slowly - often only an hour at a time and not every day, and when I am on I like to take my time exploring the maps and completing quests, talking to all the NPCs along the way, looking at the scenery etc. Plus I have 7 character and like to do things in different orders with each of them. So there's no way I'm going to complete the DLC in a couple of months and that means it works out cheaper to buy it and have permanent access than to keep subscribing.

But I don't buy dungeon DLC because I don't do dungeons often enough to need more of them.

Having said that, outside of crown pack sales subscribing is now the cheapest way to buy crowns (with longer subscription periods being being value). Which opens up the option of "try before you buy" - subscribe for a while, try out the DLC and then buy the ones you like. Even if there's a gap between the end of your subscription and buying the DLC your progress will be saved, but you could also create a temporary alt to run around DLC maps and then delete them and start fresh with your real characters when you've decided which ones you want.

You give another player a certain amount of gold and he or she gifts you a Crown Store item. Mind, that houses cannot be gifted.

How do you like to spend your time in-game? I don't do dungeons, so it would be a waste to buy those DLCs, even if I chose to play unsubbed, which I seemingly can't do due to storage issues. Do you want to play a Darkbrotherhood or Thieves guild member? Again I don't (handwaving theft as refusing to recognize the significance of all the red hands that were patched in and to see any fundamental difference between the new underground merchants and those clustered around crafting stations). If it weren't for subbing, I'd buy the story DLCs because I enjoy them.

Wrothgar is the best when it comes to content and value in my opinion.

I just sub to ESO+ and get it all *and* you get the same amount in crowns as if you had purchased them separately. For the same price.

Like previously answered, pay someone gold to gift you the dlc's. It's allowed. I can tell you that I do this within guild chat, a lot lately, and personally never had an issue. That's how I got mine and lots of other stuff too. Some people want gold instead of their crowns so works out for everyone.
