Everyone keeps saying all the classes are the worst at magicka DPS, so who's the best one? Sorc used to be it, then nightblade, now what is it?

Mitrenga✭✭✭✭✭SorcererI think the question would be "what's the viable top dps" magicka class. In trials, I see so many glass cannons. One can't dps while dead. However, since I have no idea what the release version of the Necro will be, my vote is going to the Sorcs.0

ThanatosXR✭✭✭Im starting to hate dps players not all but main character dps, they dont seem to try to help satain in pve groups, a 1 simple buff sloted and used greatly helps, spamming a few buttons is their idea of fun, pulling random mobs they cant manage and making my life as a healer/buffer extremely painful when they run out of healing radious because a fly is nearby. Then there belief I have some kinda instanta rez to save them from there stupidity.
This is a random rant about only main dps players who dont learn the whole point of grouping and dynamics, not a message to the dps players who know how to play in a group while doing damage.
Seriously how does some guy play for hours spamming the same boring damage skills without trying other skills

Someone did a 500k parse using a MagDK. The new trials dummy is bugged - it's stacking engulfing flames each time it's killed so that each subsequent kill results in an accumulating 10% flame damage taken. Plus it's got full raid buffs so comparing a parse against that dummy to a 3/6mil parse from live is apples to oranges AND on top of all of that pets are bugged so that the magcro skill Stalking Blastbones, which is flame damage is always critting. Resulting in it doing 25k dps by itself in some parses.
Magicka Necromancer will be (and should be) strong and I'm REALLY looking forward to getting my hands on it on live but I actually think most things are looking pretty balanced mag-wise (save for Magdens), although I think Templar will pull slightly ahead in a pure numbers sense if adjustments between now and Elsweyr are fairly minimal.Edited by BluntLightsaber on April 18, 2019 10:48AM0 -
