So I’m a little lost on the Necromancer class.
How do the “corpses” work? Do the abilities ONLY use corpses you generate or does the class use corpses like NPCs and dungeon monsters?
So does this mean you now have to manage magic and corpse resources?

    You can use any corpse.

In fact, it's easier to use NPC corpses currently. The ones generated from skills don't last very long.

Friendly and trash mob corpses can be used also some abilities generate corpses quickly. The gameplay is very smooth even if some of the animations seem a little goofy.

If friendly corpses can be used, does this affect their ability to resurrect or to be resurrected?

no, you just watch as your skeleton walks off without you.

What are Natch Potes? Can you eat those?

Let's hope they fix that ...3 secs is not enough time.

As the others said already: You can use any corps. In some bossfights you don't have adds, so you don't really have corpses and in those situations you can still use your own corpses. Also sometimes it's better to have your own corpses only around, because otherwise the beam of the tether (as a DD) is somewhere maybe next to you or behind you and as everything between you and the corpse gets damage this would be bad positioning.

You definetely need a bit practice with the corpses as a necromancer, but you can try it on PTS at the moment, so I can just recommend that.

Not everyone plays on PC though. Console users can't utilize the pts.
