8 seconds instead of 6 and 5% dmg bonus. Do you think it's going to be the better morph?

It has always been for me since the bigger radius makes it easier for me to aim, keep my foes in my killing zone. Plus, rapidly moving targets cause me to often shift it around before a longer full duration would expire. The 8 sec will be welcome though and line it up better with Blockade.

As a console pleb who likes to keep rotations as simple as possible, I'll be switching to this morph.

Yes, flood will likely be the go to morph, imo. Liquid basically b/c it had the duration to line up with blockade fairly well, and was easier on sustain. But flood has a wider range, and more dmg comparatively. And now with the buff to the duration, it should line up more easily with blockade in the common sorc rotation.

When Elsweyr launches I'll be switching to flood for sure. It fits my rotation better, does more damage, and has a bigger radius. Although for some playstyles the significantly long duration of liquid lightning could still be a good choice.

One morph -- two casts in 24 seconds, max 2 synergies in 24 seconds
Other morph -- three casts in 24 seconds, bigger radius, a little more damage per second, max 3 synergies in 24 seconds

In a heavy attack build with dual pets, what's not to like about the 8 second version? I think it would also have more potential for VMA. So it seems pretty appealing to switch to.

I always used Flood. The other one is too small.

I use flood anyway, nice radius and more damage.

When your AOE is too small to damage more targets...it does Waaaaaaaaaaay less damage that what it should. Same with Endless Hail.

Ill be switching to flood if the morphs dont change. duration works with blockade and more damage and bigger radius are plusses.

such a strange change. everyone is just going to swap to flood now. simply because of walls 8 seconds. what they ought to have done is made both 8 seconds but flood morph increase the area and liquid lighting increase the damage per tick but have a smaller size. unless they think people are going to swap to the 6 second morph of wall and use a 12 second rotation around haunting curse and liquid lightning.

Sucks, i was using it as a semi spammable on my heavy attack Pet Sorc.

The duration increase means i have to find another skill for that (or change my rotation) ...

I like this change. For rotations we can build around 8s using Flood, Blockade, and Familiar and have larger AoE. Or we can build around 12s with Liquid Lightning, Unstable Wall, and Curse, for more single target burst damage.
