PVP NEED PVP ARMOR ONLY

Zos told us that if you want leveling with pvp and only do that, you can.
But if you want to be competitive in PVP you have to get the top PVE set. Monster set and master weapon. It's a non sens.
Yeah, i know there is a vendor for monster set in pvp. But it's so mutch long to wait the good weeks.. Farm the dungeon is still the only correct way to get them. And weap is only PVE..

in fact, i have no probleme with presence of monster set and weap in pvp. Just that they should at least not overperforming comapre to pvp set. Or, ZOS should put a correct way to get them by pvp.

I would like to see some interesting sets via PvP.

ATM I have seen some great PvE sets from PvP and vice versa.

Trial sets are the only sets that are a real pain to me, I'm not about to try and get 11 others (in PvP and trader guilds)

I suppose I'm not too concerned either way

A key reward for winning locked campaing that unlocks a dungeon/trial vault with ~15/5set item drops would be fun. The top player get golden key, others get purp blue and green depending on rank. Top %50 of other allianves get green keys, their top may get purple.

The number can vary, new dungeons will have special vaults 1 week after the release.

If you can not even do pve stuff what pvp do you talk about ? Kill a pc bot is much easyer than to kill good player. It is mmo. You train do dmg on dummy first. Do the same way.

Pvp player can not be bad in pve, kill other player is harder than to kill mob with no brain. So go and train. The game must not give any thing to those who are bad in pve and pvp and just say that they are pvp players !

We are not talking about your skill to kill a simply bot or to kill a player. We are talking about the way to get the best stuff for pvp activites.

If i think like you, why not impose the pvp to pve players who want to get the best set in the game ? If the game propose both way, it should be egual in term of optimization.

ZOS made a game where you can leveling/craft/evolve only in RvR. And if it's your favorite activity and if you get only 2 or 3h per day to play, you don"t want to be forced to spend them in dundgeon. There is the point.

And i think if pve players would be forced like that, the forum would be filled with complaint.

I love ESO and the Lore. But i have way more fun in pvp than pve.

Dungeons are easy. And, a master weapon isn’t necessary for PvP.

If anything gear which is good in pve should be good in pvp and impen and crit resist shouldn't exist if its useless in pve.

i allways play solo in pvp, sometimes i have 1 friend with me in the group.
and i never go after gaining Emperor status nor leader board status, all i want is to play pvp against other players and i just want to pvp.
so if your suggesting we "win those armor and weapons" as a reward from being the highest top 10 leader board AP points then i disagree, and i hope it never happens.
but if you are saying we win those weapons another way then i vote "yes"

like maybe for example:
we "purchase" the weapons by 5 million AP.
i would love that!

Screw sets, i want armor I can Tailor around my playstyle, god damn i played lotro for years back in the and it spoiled me, legendary armor/weapons are great, sets are alright but to basic for for unique playstyles. How the hell did lotro with barely a damn budget create such great mmo systems yet ZoA cant implyment a simple gobal maket with billions in capital, to bad wb killed it

Good point OP. Like why do the vBRP weapons have penetration on them since it’s a pvp stat?

People who pvp a lot can get over a million AP per week and it piles up with nothing to spend it on. I find myself buying things from the golden vendor I don’t use all the time. I get jewellery from the end of campaign rewards I try to sell or it just sits in my bank.

Add some pvp specific weapons that you can buy for 5 or 10 million AP so there’s something to spend it on, or add to the golden vendor items from places like vBRP where the items are from pve but designed to be used in pvp.

It happens all the time in MMOs, they always make the same mistake and gate pvp gear behind pve.

lets move vigor and caltrops to assault rank 10. see what happens, and that isnt even RNG based.

it's all in the amount of time spend in combination with RNG which makes it atrocious.

meanwhile pve'rs flood the forums complaining about every tiny pvp encounter they run into.

Getting undaunted should also give you the monster sets needed if you play it smart.

Your last part isn’t really true because only pvp players have to play more of one content than the other. It makes no sense that most of the sets you play with are obtained by doing pve, if it was the other way around there wouldn’t even be a discussion because the servers would be closed. Can we even name 3 sets that’s pvp rewards that get used in pve? Meanwhile pve players get new gear and items each update via the content they play the most. It’s honestly bs.

Just get rid of BoP. Let people sell their achievements. Theres nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Not everyone has the time or skill to achieve some of these things that can be BiS for PvP.

You would think, but the converse is also occurring. That sets like Spell Strat, which is the best in PVE, comes from PVP. And then there is the age-old aggravant, Caltrops and Vigor come from PVP.

As a once PVE_only player, I finally accepted it and in the process, learned to really like PVP. So I guess their strategy worked.

Don’t have to step a foot in pvp to get pvp sets, that’s the difference and even then it’s rare a set will be released that’ll be used in pve. As far as caltrops and vigor they’re easier to get than undaunted. They lowered the amount to get those for pve players but didn’t want to do the same for pvp when it comes to undaunted.

Just put arena weapons back into the PvP lootpool as a top tier reward. Or unbind them and let folks sell them.

Monster sets are fine in PvP (except the ones that aren't, lol). 90% of dungeons can be done by pretty much anyone, as they are carriable. Plus the golden has existed for a hot minute.

While best in slot pvp gear gated behind hard pve raiding sucks, the huge amount of different gear options available makes theorycrafting really interesting, compared to alot of other games that have just 1-3 different options for best in slot pvp gear.

have the golden sell more monster sets for AP only.

getting 2 pieces a week randomly really sucks, if its going to be random make it at least 4, or make them all available for increased AP cost with at least a week long delay for new ones (dungeon drops, then the golden stocks that a week later)

but make them AP and not ap/gold the golden was supposed to be the pvp method for getting monster sets, its really not.
