Need help with a hybrid Sorc build

Hello all! I'm starting to dabble with a unique build for my sorc, and I need some help. The goal of the build is a hybrid of melee and ranged caster DPS. The melee/stam would be two-handed and the ranged caster/mag DPS would be from the storm calling line. I'm basically trying to replicate the thane class from Dark Age of Camelot. The build sounds fun to me on paper, but I have no idea if it is going to be viable in PvE or PvP. I'm thinking of mixing in one-handed and shield on the back bar, but mostly just for the melee snare. Any suggestions?

Never played DAoC so take this with a grain of salt. But i‘m ever so often going hybrid as well.
For no cp PvP I use pelinal as a base set, weapons and jewels from 7th legion. Nirn 2h and infused bow. 5med/1h/1l , all infused jewels with wpn dmg, warrior mundus. Monster set either engine guard, kena, slimecraw or a mix of kena, domi or something that gives weapon dmg. Tri stat food. Dunmer or Imperial.
2h: crit Rush (or stampede for snare), dizzy, haunting curse, endless fury, FM, DBoS
Bow: PI, dark deal, streak, hurricane, Vigor
It’s playable but definitive not top tire. So any good pvper with a tanky build might rip you a new one. But it’s fun - if that is of any value.
Combo consists of curse, dizzy and DB. Add endless as execute. One trick pony. I feel pretty much forced into 2h for FM and into bow for on demand major expedition. Might could work with DW and quick cloak as well but I like the extra pressure from PI (+ ranged aspect). New Race against time might be interesting as it will give mE as well + you can choose rally over FM, but that isn’t live Yet.
Could swap PI for Curse and go BA on front. If you can live without mE you could even go resto backbar with that bar setup and use it’s great ultimate.

Pve i cant tell much since I don’t hang there very often. But in the past it’s been dw front with lightning staff Backbar. Pelinal, stormfist, agility and vma weapons. That alone might shows how outdated my pve knowledge is.

However some people put their money on mechanical acuity or build for resources instead of the pelinal approach. Look up Kristopher ESO on YouTube. He‘s a great inspiration for anything hybrid.
