An 200% increase in initially damage? Is that going to make it a worth while skill? I honestly don’t know what do you think?

    Still way to early to make definitive statements, but it looks like they were trying pretty hard to give DK a buff.

    That seemed to be the only buff stamdk got. Everything else was just nerfs.

    I was not even aware of this change. I have two characters that use this skill for the fracture etc as part of my rotations, now, wow, totally gonna jump back into those characters and see how they feel again.

    it's a buff to both types of DK.

    but there's no real "nerf".

    we simply got ignored. again.

    Honestly ridiculously frustrating that the mag dk gets so much while stam dk gets so little. They should have gave us stam armor or stam wings or STAM WHIP or stam inhale or stam petrify at least have the following scale off max attribute. Honestly I love the aesthetics of the dk I do like noxious breath and stam claw but I believe we need one more stam morph to a viable skill I really like the idea of stam inhale.

    Based on what?? Less than 2k initial hit and 300-400 dot every 2 seconds in pvp with a clunky hit box? Please.

    Major fracture was and is always a strong debuff. The skill itself though? Was always bad , underperformed in parses, underperformed in PvP. I don't understand how a dot that deals 200-300 damage every 2 seconds and 1-2k initial damage , ''was always been good''.

    %200 buff to its very small initial hit will make it more decent for sure(also nerf to suprise attack, indirect buff) however I would still prefer a complete rework to this considering its just a bad copy of sub assault.

    Well doesn't the base version of flames of oblivion scale off of highest stat now? So im assuming the cauterize morph will work with stam now, could be nice on my stamDK with the mending ect.

    No, youre not understanding me. I know the MORPH currently scales off max stat, i deals flame damage but it isnt terrible. Im saying cause the base skill now gets the effect, stamina DKs will be able to use the healing morph now, which i think will be very strong on stamDK. This is my assumption atleast maybe someone can confirm this.

    If you're about Cauterize, I did talk to some healers about that skill, and most find Cauterize too finicky to make DK healer something other than for-fun spec. You get more out of other classes' burst heals - like sorc's, and sorc also will bring more utility to the group at that.

    my build is a lot more than 2K and the DoT is higher too. but the biggest thing in PvP is to get that Major Fracture for a very very cheap cost......

    more? yes. a ton? no. I haven't tested it myself, but i don't understand how can this heal makes sDK a LOT more sustainable/survivable.... even with CP coordinated for more heals.

    This is the most exciting change for me, wanted another heal source. I tried it and it looks at least useful, not great but useful. Something seems off with the scaling, but that could be related to CP. If nothing changes I'll still be using it.
