hairstyle changes when trying costumes

i have the "then standing wave" hairstyle, and whenever i try on armor from the store, or use a costume in game (for special quests or example) my hairstyle changes to the one i selected in the character creation. this didn't happen to me with other hairstyles so i don't know why it happens. is it intended?

It happens all the time to me. If I edit my outfit my hair reverts until I save.

I wish the hairstyles were added to the character created and weren't overwritten when trying on costumes it wearing disguises.

Oh, that's a thing I've seen too. I thought it was normal?

I have another thing that happens: I have two toons wearing the Wide-Brimmed Acorn Warder hat, a Bosmer and a Khajiit. When crafting, the hat disappears on the Khajiit, but not the Bosmer. Both are set up the same - neither is wearing a costume, both are in armor mashups (heavy for the Khajiit, medium for the Bosmer).

It's fairly disconcerting....

My girls don't go bald with that particular hat. The Bosmer is using the dominion "warlocks" or whatever it's actually named (not in game so don't know), the Khajiit is using the beaded dreads. The Bosmer has one of the other medium-long styles under the hat; the Khajiit has the non-beaded long dreads.

It's just a bit wonky really.
