I usually try to make thematic builds around a class'es unique specialty to make it unique (i don't like using the same sets on 2 classes).... for example i use briarheart and automaton on stam sorc since the class is focused on physical damage and crit healing... or i use mothers sorrow + master architect on magblade since its based around crit and cheap ultimate...or i use spell strategist + siriora on templar because there are a lot of synergies to stagionary light attacks with templar....i can't so far identify the necros usp in that sense?
i mean yes its built around corpses - but there arent really any sets for that...at least until they change existing sets with that focus

They already stated in ESO live that they want to do a different approach from wardens, who were released weak and then buffed. With necromancers they want to release it overpowered and then maybe tone it down with time.

I loved the idea of the dragon emerging to blast ethereal flame now it’s replacement is just... well, a bit meh...
Maybe the pts will change my mind but with a full bore meta addict on the dev team I don’t hold out much hope... you just know it will be button mashing light attack weaves as far as the eye can see. Well stuff that, I like heavy attacks and I’m going to use them whether the devs like it or not!

Yeah i think a skeletal dragon would be cooler. But a big thicc boi works too. i do quite like the bomb with feet though. and his cousin, mr sparky. mr spook looks cool too with how much he can heal.
USP will be a fact of being ridiculusly overpowered in any role, at least in the current state, before it gets touched with a nerfbat after summer/autumn sales.
