Fairly new player, friend of mine, wants an invitation to the forum so she can post

I don't really think she needs an "invite", she just has to be registered and then it takes a minute to be allowed access (ZoS can be slow).
At least that's the way I remember it.
I just hope she's Salty.

leeux✭✭✭✭✭Pretty sure you get an invitation as soon as you create your account on ZOS site... the inivtation can expire, though and you can re-ask for it using the help support site... or so I've read.

✭✭✭✭✭Okay, yeah, that's what I did. I actually didn't get an email after I registered - just went to check, no email (I have every email I've ever sent and received, back to early 1999).

It explicitly says that they can take up to 48hs to arrive.

✭Related: the invite process is one of the most needlessly complex processes I've ever encountered for a game's official forums. You'd think that creating an ESO account would be sufficient for forum access like pretty much every other game with an official forum in existence, but no...1 -

Yeah, very strange. Then again, these forums are actually pretty calm (almost sterile...) compared to blizzard's. I spent YEARS posting in the CS forum there.... my god, it was like 1vEVERYONE pvp.... even with mods....
