Hey,

I got a new PC and Just wanna start ESO, I did an Speedtest and got 70mb/s as an result, but the ESO launcher only downloads with 10-11mb/s?

Is there a solution for this to increase DL Speed?

Your confusing the two ways data streams are measured.

All Telecom speeds are stated in megabits per second. It takes 8 bits to make a byte. The computer, and the Launcher, state speeds in megabytes per second.

So, take the number shown in the launcher, multiply it by 8, and you have the speed of the download stated the same way your circuit speed is.

Or, in your case, it's about the same.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Wait, the speed test Said 70000kb/s, this would be around 70mb/s, right? Launcher Just says 10mb/s, so how IS that the same?

    70 Mb/s = 10 MB/s, one byte or B = 8 bit or b.
in telecom we use bit but internal in computers we use byte

A general speedtest doesnt show the full truth as applications can set their own dl speed cap, and the amount of traffic the dl servers are seeing can also affect your speed.

Ah yes, mb versus mB. Internetproviders are using that distinction (most dont know of) to sell their products for over a decade now
