ZOS knew this was coming and put it off til it hit, got to sell more reskinned ponies ya know, put the work where the money is.

Necro most requested class since launch, ZOS KNEW the influx of new and returning players was gonna be huge and scaling up to the release of Elswyr, but investors cracked the reskin-more-ponies whip and backs were cracked.

That’s an indictment, not a defense.

If an influx of players are putting a strain on servers NOW, just think of the nightmare Elsweyr is going to be.
    The servers will explode.

If you're not worried about this server strain now, you should think what the future holds.

    Just sayin...

Yeah, those eu guys making an na account during elsweyr will be armageddon coming.

Really hoping they get that eu server fixed before elsweyr drop.

Imagine the carnage when all eso players are on na server, with an influx of refugee from other mmo, with new players signing up for that necromancer class, and eu players playing in na server, cant wait for that day to come.

    Oh perish the thought!

Sounds like a jab but EU having a log in queue means we have MORE players than NA

No, it means you have a higher ratio of players to infrastructure and available server resources.

The servers are going to explode when Elsweyr comes out. I can already see abilities going off 2 seconds late, IF i can get in the game to begin with.

You mean, if we can get in the game to begin with.

Looking at the eu server guys made me realize, we could be the one next for the login queue.

    I just dread the days.

It is not about fixing things. Zos has actually done some work that actually did improve performance. It is just that they have added even more that makes it worse.

Zos has added more calculations to the game over the years. Most notably is CP and buffs. They have also moved more from the client to the servers.

It comes down to the same issues that led to the roughest launch for a major title I have ever experienced, poor management.

I agree man, playing from SE Asia honestly might be better than playing from US lol. If you're ISP is decent and you use a good routing service most of the time its not bad at all. Servers still have plenty of people on them during our primetime but you don't get the overpopulation lag. I meet PvPers playing from the US all the time who are up at all hours of the night to avoid the crowds. Ive played from the US as well (where I am from) and I can honestly say that primetime performance in PvP in the US might be worse than performance from SE Asia when there's about 2 bars of pop which is normal for our primetime. And certainly PvE performance is better a lot of the time, less crowding in cities = better FPS etc.

Thats is correct, our primetime is their bedtime.

The only players we meet in our primetime are the nightshift guys.

I would think getting the servers to work to where you can at least login would be a priority. I mean; you can't buy crown store stuff from outside of the game, can you?

It's not necessary to give them 'good' ideas. Now we're for sure going to see the long-awaited release of the phone companion app, but it's going to be crown store exclusively. Thanks. I hate it.
