How do you plan to use Major Vulnerability?

Not sure if there is a thread on this already, so if I am repeating someone I apologize.

Assuming that the Necromancer gets to keep this debuff after the PTS, what are your strategies for deploying it? If nothing changes (longshot I know), the colossus ultimate lasts two seconds and applies the debuff on each of its 3 smashes. (effectively giving you 5 seconds of Major Vulnerability max if I am not mistaken) I am curious to see how it may be used by some people in Trials, 4 man dungeons, PVP (battlegrounds or Cyro) or overland play.

I'll use it during burn phase to see one dps spamming bow light attacks at an add, and the healer ressing the tank.

I was thinking that the Colossus could be a great counter for the Necro res ultimate. From the videos I have watched, it looks like there is a slight delay before the resurrected players can move. With good timing, someone could drop the Colossus on the resurrected group and smash them back down. Or at the very least get some good damage off the debuff.

They dont come back at full health, so it could work.

No way it releases with major vulnerability being a thing. That would be huge power creep for pve.

Think so? Im kind of thinking they will just let it buck and see how it goes.


I can see them changing it to something like "only applies major vulnerability on the FINAL smash". That would give peeps a chance to avoid the debuff and would reduce the time it is applied from 5 to 3 seconds on major PVE bosses.

I will use it on the immortal warden/Earthgore premades in BGs

I'll be using it on a zerg while theyre repairing. Necro has great bombing capability

Maybe an ultigen necro healer/tank and just use it in place of/in tandem with warhorn

Even without the bone colossus transform ult, they’ll still self-heal like nothing else
