Are you getting a specific error when your character is disconnected?

You should try removing your current add-ons as a possible culprit for why your characters get kicked when switching between them.

Yep. Got this many times over the past 2 weeks. I log out, and go right to login screen with that stupid age-old message saying to check my internet connection. ZOS needs to check their collective head connections. The more they claim to fix this game, the more it breaks.

I am getting Kicked almost everytime there is a loading screen.
It is random but always when on a loading screen. It then kicks me to login screen.

I log in and sometime while loading in a character it kicks me out to the loading screen again.
However this seem to happen ALOT when mapping to another instance and it even kicked me twice once group finder queued me for a dungeon. When i finally manage to log in again am not in the party.

It doesnt give any error other than Connection was lost. No codes or anything.
Only started happening since yesterdays patch.

every time i change a char. to do writs, i get get back to login screen.

I was being booted from the game every 15 minutes repeatedly for days. I setup a static IP and voilah... problems solved, potential dynamic IP issues must be occurring from ESO's client to router/ISP.

Static IP's are relatively easy to setup to test.

    Try my solution.

Setup a static IP address. it made my DC issues poof after being disconnected daily almost every 15 minutes. Go to your network settings, right click on connection, go to properties, double click ip4 settings.

If you access your router to change settings, you know the default gateway. i.e. 192.168.1.x.

If you don't know your default gateway, figure it out, you will need it.

For a new IP address make it similar to the default gateway but change the last number, i.e. 192.168.1.22

For subnet mask set to 255.255.255.0

For the DNS servers just use googles for testing. Preferred: 8.8.8.8
    Alternate: 8.8.4.4

Select validate settings upon exit to make sure it works.

hm...i've set my IP to be always the same (router-setting) now. It's the fastest way to change something related to that in my network. If it doesn't help, i'll try the complete solution you described.
    Thx for the help :)
