Today is my day off and wanted to farm at scalecaller peak (today's pledge) but i won't be able to play till 21:00, assuming the maintenance is done by 19:00 UTC. I think i'm entitled to be a bit salty.

Dumb. vMoL can be bought for like... 450.000 golds at maximum? Not even that much probably. And i've been doing fine managing my inventory without craft bag for a fair few months now. I'm a 9 characters crafter fyi btw.

Dumb is to oppose when there's a lesson to be given if u ask me. ZOS made this ugly policy a considerable time ago and it's kinda where i stopped subbing. I buy expansions and that's it. Even DLCs or sth i want from crown i just spend golds. Not paying a single penny really.

I'm playing GW2 instead, which also had an update today but didn't need to be taken offline to deliver it. I had to log out and back in to pick up the patch, but that's all.

Time to clean the house, do the laundry, prep the dinner, play the with dogs….get my daughters passport application done. I might just be the best mom after this update is done today not what i wanted to do on my day off, but it needs to be done I suppose.

I have a problem with this because of the boxes, if we lose one day because of it, i would be pretty pissed if they don;t give some kind of compensation.

Nope.
I had a day off, I'm EU so for me maintenence is 10am - 9pm (as of now at least). I didn't log in the morning since I thought hey, I'm going to log in in the evenening (originally I'd be able to after 6pm), my dog could use a morning walk. Well now I'm really hoping it comes back before dailies reset since I really wouldn't want to loose all the event boxes and they take a while to get.

I probably wouldn't be that salty if the event wasn't on. Or if that wasn't the week where it's easiest for me to get many boxes.
