Healer CP Allocation

Hi,

I’ve never played CP pvp before but am about to hit 810CPs and want to give it a go. I see alcast’s allocation suggestion for pvp but since his forte is pve I want to make sure his recommendation is good, plus he doesn’t have my role up there.

Magblade healer;
Buffer of the swift, nightflame and Transmutation. Resto, breaking trans for the BRP destro staff.

I know there are some weird allocations for gimmick builds but I just want something well rounded. Are there target numbers I should aim for to help shore up any weaknesses in my build? I’m pretty much a noob when it comes to CP pvp so any help welcome!

If you want to play "just healing" setup you need to max your magica pool on Vivec/Shor, and spd on Sotha/kyne. So on CP u need to wear bright/shackle+1 support set (transmutation/worm/spc/sanctuary/ect.) or both of them(for max numbers). mNB is not the best choice for healer, bis still templar/warden.

You wanna spend some of those point in blessed, 77 points i think it is for 14% healing.

I’m actually more worried about defense then healing output, so red and green CP allocation. I’m pure healing/support now in non-CP cyrodiil and mix damage and healing in BGs.

I guess what’s concerning me most is crit resistance because impreganabke armour is so popular, where in no-CP pvp it’s not required because people don’t have all the crit modifiers from CPs and all impenetrable is enough. As a guess there’s dimishing returns to crit resistance CPs making impenetrable armour good?

I’d likely stay damage/healing mix unless I play in an organized group. Maybe hit the sewers and 1vX IDK yet.

Shakle and bright might be decent but your defense will suck, offense if you don’t 5x light. I need a set I can break the 5 piece on because I use the BRP/master’s staff. I’m used to no-CP pvp, is this not the case in CP pvp?
