Mundus Stones Comparison

Can anyone provide some numbers about the difference between Mundus stones? Preferably both for Magicka and Stamina characters?

I want to use boons like Apprentice/Warrior on some of my characters since I play PvE and PvP often. I don't want to switch Mundus before every activity.
For example, if I pick Shadow on my Sorcerer, it's useless for PvP. And if I pick Atronach, it's useless for PvE. So I want a sweet spot like Apprentice which will be useful for both PvE and PvP. But I want to know the numbers, the damage difference, to decide if it's worth it. I mean if there is like 2-3% damage difference between them, I'm not gonna worry about it.

You answered your own question --- Apprentice/Warrior works fine as long as your build has around 42% or greater crit -- keeps it effective in PvP and PvE both; crit isn't reliable in PvP, and in PvE the difference isn't going to be huge about 2-3% as you are looking at.

Find a guild masters home that has all the stones and do sone testing on a skeleton dummy.

But @MrBumblefoot why do you say Shadow is useless for PvP? You probably misunderstand how Crit works if so.

Shadow boosts Crit damage by 13% now. That means with no other modifers (i e CP in Elfborn, night made, warhorn etc) your Crit damage would be 63%
Not many people run more than 3300 Cirt resist which mitigates 50% Crit damage. Thus giving you running it a 13% Crit

Odds are you will have 15-20% in Eflborn this in reality your crits with shadow could be 25-35% damage increase to someone with the classic amount of Impen. 75-85% on someone with no impen (a pve build)

I'm not saying its best, I'm saying it works is all. Best depends on the rest of your build.

Have you thought about using the mage on your sorc?

Shadow is easily one of the best Mundus for both PvE and PvP for both magicka and stamina as long you have respectable(i.e. Above 60% in PvE, Above 45% in PvP). In PvE, it offers the highest DPS. In PvP, it gives very high burst potential against the vast majority of enemies.

If you have enough penetration. Lover is the best option for basically any build that doesnt reach 16004 penetration pre-lover.

If max penetration is not achieved in PvE (and it seldom is outside coordinated groups) Lover is the best mundus stone damage wise.

A little trickier in PvP depending on build and play style, but since everyone and their mothers are running around in high resistances in PvP you won't be wrong with Lover there either.

So if you don't want to switch around I would say go Lover.
