Elven Hero Dye Question

Just wondering from anyone who owns it if the Elven Hero Costume dyes well? I am thinking of purchasing it but would like to make sure it doesn't have washed out colors like many of the other costumes of late. Thanks.

You can get gold and silver to shine nicely on the metal parts but the rest will be washed out. I usually dyed the armour black and the metal gold.

it's a nice outfit as is, coloring the cloth parts can look a bit washed out with the more bright matte colors

The Elven Hero is one of my favourite costumes.I would say it dyes nicely:

Depending on the color you use, the straps don't do so well. They tend to hold a yellowish brown hard. Some colors like the Vivec blue used above and dark colors can over ride it, but many other colors and light ones can not and it looks crap. The metal and body of the suit do fine with any color I've used, including white.
