Guild Stores are Laggy?

It is common for me to experience fairly substantial lag upon opening guild stores, buying, selling, searching and obtaining my listings. It is not rare for there to be delays of 10-45 seconds or more.

Yet, I haven't seen comments on this here on the forums. So, I am wondering what the guild store experience is for others.

It's common. It's been an issue since I can remember. It's best to take it slow and stop and wait for it catch up if you start noticing some lag. Otherwise it'll just fall further and further behind until you have to literally log out before you can use it again.

Yes. The search function glitches too. It keeps telling me there is no items then I cancel out and back in then it finally shows listings.

For me the guild stores worked better before the new update.
The addon awesome guild store worked better than this mess.

Laggy aint the term for the lazy hamster on the PC-EU server, I think it left on Jan 29 and temps have been used for short periods ever since (2-3 mins before it quits)

Guild stores and guild banks are extremely laggy right now, more so than they were before. This really needs addressing.

Guild Stores and Banks have been even worse since that item scan thing. Both are excruciating to use.

Last night, that is some 12 hours ago, before today's maintenance, I was searching guild stores in Wayrest and it was almost smooth. There were still occasional hiccups, but it was much better than usual; for some searches like "Mats, Clothing, Raw" I got responses instantly.

Here's me hoping maintenance doesn't revert whatever was fixed just prior to it

Yes, when I click on 'Guild Store' in the bank, Punala just stands and stares at me for a while before opening it up. That's before I even attempt to search for anything and the delay has definitely got longer over the past few days.

They are 1,000 times worse than before, both guild stores and guild banks.

tbh, laggy guildstores are the smallest problem in the game,

however it is something you wont notice on ps4 (pro) (and no the reason is not that there are no lags on ps4)

They are more laggy than usual since its so much trading going on.
and yes the new interface probably increases lag, still it make browsing so much smoother.

They are still way better than before. Guild banks aren't even close to as bad as before. Guild stores are similar to before and are often glitchy, but the overall transaction is far faster due to filters.

I assumed performance would decline over time after the update, but I am far happier with how it works right now. Guild banks are far more accessible and I can find things way faster in a guild store, even if it is as buggy as before.

It will be interesting to see if stores improve post-jubilee.

This was the case pre-update. Regular freezing. But it still opens much more consistently.

The reason is the playerbase has been migrating to PC.

No. Alienslof is definitely right about guild stores. They're much laggier than before. Both in relation to searches and purchases.

Yesterday I spent several hours shopping for alchemy and enchanting recipes and it was very common after buying one for the store to freeze, the same way that guild banks do.

Guild banks I don't know for comparison since I've only just gained access to them.

I always thought this was an issue with MM or AGS addons but I’ve been using neither and still having this. Try and list an item and it just sits for 30 seconds or so and then I can select a new item.

Takes about 5mins to tell me nothing was found. And today there was 2 items found, after I bought one it had to load for about 2mins to tell me there was only one item found, like of course because I just bought the other damn one.

I am so sick and tired of my searches resetting themselves. Im not surprised though, Zos still trying to tie strap on shoes.

Yes, you have to wait for it to catch up, as someone else says. If you start trying to rush it, it gets worse and worse.

Went shopping 2 nights ago and many of the guild stores were wonky. either they had long load times or the results would pop up and then disappear (had to search again to get them back).

Edit: even opening the guild stores window took a few seconds in some cases. I wasn't sure my click/E had even registered in the dialog options.

Guild banks are in a similar state. Deposit an item or two and then wait 2-5 minutes while the server processes what just just happened. Last night one of my banks just would not load, had to exit altogether and try again.

They have to slow down guild stores and guild banks to sell more subscriptions.

Thou shall not abuse private guild banks as baggins.

I might help you with this, or not, depends on when your searches are resetting. When I talk to a guild trader, hit '1' to open the store, nothing happens. But the request is out there, hamsters crunching. If I lose patience and hit '1' a second time, still nothing happens, but a second request flies out. Then the store opens (in response to the first request). I hit some recent search, wait, results show up. Then the game receives response to the second "open store" request, and blanks out the results. If this is what you're experiencing, simply don't nag the trader, hit open store once and wait.

I think the load from Jubilee is significantly adding to these issues. Even the simple act of sending a mail has a delay now. Here's hoping it settles down a bit after Thursday, when we go back to just normal levels of writ runners. There has to be huge strain on the servers to be updating all our inventories with writs/anniversary goodies.

I've noticed that if you type in a search and then switch zones, the traders won't work until you clear your previous search, which is annoying when you're going zone to zone looking for one thing.
