Launcher update bugged?

I opened the launcher and it started updating, almost immediately my antivirus freaked out and gave me this message



I closed the launcher and reopened, nothing more from antivirus but now I'm stuck on updating and it's not doing anything, running as admin didn't help and I can't access anything on the launcher to try a repair.

Is it worth trying to find that on my antivirus and tell it that this is fine or is this an actual threat?

Yes this has happened to a few people.

If your not patching the game, dont use the launcher.

I think you can resolve the issue by adding it as an exception. In the meantime, dont fret over some Crown Store add you cant see and just use a shortcut to the eso64.exe to launch the game.

Thank you, now to remember exactly where I installed ESO to find the eso64.exe :P
