Battle Grounds (Daoc style)

Anyone recall the Battle Grounds in Daoc? I would love to see something like that in eso. I have never been a fan of the minigame style of battle Grounds.
For those who never played Daoc Its battle grounds were basically a mini version of cyrodiil with just one large keep in the center and all 3 factions battle to take and hold it.
It was a training ground for lower lvl characters much like our under 50 campaign.
The only reason I bring this up is to cut down a lot of the unused dead space in cyrodiil and make the action faster find and maintain.
Any thoughts?

I would love for that to happen and have even pitched that idea when the game first came out. When frontiers were kind of empty I had a level 24 thidranki character to fill the void. I think the biggest benefit though would be getting the feel of how siege and capturing keeps works in small doses for new players.

For people not familiar, daoc bg was broken in tiers, I can’t remember exactly but was along the lines of 20-24 then next bg 25-39 etc all the way to 49. And each tier introduced more “end game” rvr or “cyrodil” mechanics. ie. adding more keeps, different landscapes and siege weapons etc get people ready for the real thing.

The best part was, it was an excellent source of exp so you could level all the way to 50 doing just that, each bg would have quests and plenty of shards to collect in order to allow people to get skill points. I know that small scale bgs would promote stealth ganking at them but that adds to the fun imo. Always looking over your shoulder

The other thing they had was ways to pve in the bg as well for bonus exp

    So I’m all for it
