Do you ever play ESO under the influence?

I'm curious if any of you ever play after a few or steer clear altogether...?

For me its a bad idea to mix drinking with ESO... but it does make for hilarious group chats!

Everyone's got a story of that ONE time...LOL

I honestly find gaming in general a lot more fun drunk. Anytime I'm in Cyrodiil the groups I'm in, 90% of the time someone is getting effed up on the spot.

I don't drink often at all, but when I do it's usually at home with dinner and then I go on with whatever else I wanted to do that evening, so there's been times I've been playing ESO after 1/2 a bottle of wine or a few beers or whatever.

I can't actually remember the last time I was properly drunk, that kind of stopped after my 20s.

I have done, it didn't normally end well. Most of the time it was during guild celebrations so I was drinking with them, have also done drinking game vDSA which was bad.

That said, it's never been as bad as drunk EVE Online. Nothing make a hangover worse than also finding you welped your expensive internet spaceship.

My wallet tends to open wide when I'm under the influence of the legal, yet extremely damaging drug alcohol. Thus I try to avoid playing ESO when drunk, but it, well, happened.

I had never bought Hakkvild's High Hall had I been sober that night, but at that time I thought it was a great investment. So don't drink and play, or you might end up with Hakkvild's.

OMG, LOL. I can relate to it usually not ending well... I've ran vet trials a little too tipsy before and I always seem to get drawn to the red glowy things forming all over the boss room floor.

Had an raid in wow who fell apart because of all was so drunk.
This was during the October festival, as in in game event a bit like the ESO midwinter one but focused on beer.
One reward was an sort of drill who acted as an teleporter who teleported you to another dungeon.

Well people was spawning them telling others it was an buff.
Some fell for it multiple times.

We had lots of fun, one of our better raids

Somedays, I am playing and have to take my meds. They are strong. If compared to alcohol, majority would be laid out cold for at least 9hours. Although, when that happens I result to just farming mats and zone exploration so I dont become a detriment to any groups i may/may not join.

I mainly listen to music when I drink as I'm already mentally ill and become even more unstable, but I play all sorts of games when drinking as well and its fun. I tend to be a pretty coherent drunk.

Less than I used to. Five years ago when the game launched I was living with roommates in the city and was working in a hard partying tech-bro culture. I live differently now, and am far less likely to do anything under the influence.

But I still enjoy drunk pvp and drunk raid nights on occasion.

I used to only game drunk for years until I decided I needed to stop drinking. I'm better at games now, but drunk gaming was amusing most of the time.

Strictly speaking, yes. But I never binge drink, so the influence is rather minimal. At most, I'm drinking a single oversized Moscow Mule. I don't think that is what the OP was going for.

Same. Drunk gaming is great fun but also a pretty bad habit if your a bit of an addict type. I had to totally quit I was hungover all the time health wasn't appreciating it. Almost 4 months sober now.

When you are drunk you are funny only to other drunks. So only way it is fun if you are doing it wit your guildmates in discord and everybody is drinking too.

I've been sipping wine, mead, or champagne when playing. sometimes to the point of getting a fair buzz going. Scotch and Soda is a good choice too.

Yeah I am an addict/addictive personality. I don't have limits, I just go til I pass out which tl;dr based on my family history and my health was not a good choice, lol. I don't regret quitting but it's a want that never really goes away.
