How about a little variety for outfit styles?

kinda sucks how little variety there is between all the different weapon motifs aswell as how useless belts are for styling your character, seems very little effort has been put in to make things unique (maybe with the exception of chest styles)

most of the weapon styles have very little noticeable difference from each other, making it quite pointless to invest in acquiring a hard to get or expensive weapon motif considering the visible difference is quite small, other than ofcourse just if you want to do master writs for that specific item

highly devs will will really ever drasticly change all the different styles there are but i just wonder if others feel the same way ;}

    I find them pretty useful.
    Skull belt buckle for my assassin, golden belt buckle for the noble, this belt buckle for this character, that belt buckle for that character, everyone gets their own belt buckle (provided they match with the chestpiece, and if often vexes me when bits don't fit together well... but then I just try and find something else!)

    I dunno... I think many styles are pretty unique already.
    I mean, just try to make an argument how the argonian styles are not distint from, say, the various nord-inspired styles, or the redguard-ish styles different from all the dunmer house styles, and so on...

    Oh?
    https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/mace-by-material/

    https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/sword-by-material/
    https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/staff-by-material/
    Hardly any difference, huh?

    I mean, sure, a bow will always look like a curved wooden thing shooting arrows. A sword will always look like a long edged piece of metal. A staff will always look like a pole with a decorative bit on top. A mace or axe will always look like a stick with something "ouch!" on top to better hit people with!

    But the details will be quite different! This sword will be "gladius" style, that sword "broadword" style, and that sword over there might be... ooooo... curved! This axe might be double.headed, that axe might be a pick instead, this mace might be a spiked club, that mace might be a hammer, etc.

    Loads of bits to choose the ones best suiting your character idea!

    Well, why would they, the styles are there after all.
    But they add new ones all the time!

    So why whine, when you could instead brainstorm about what -you- would like to see added someday? Who knows, when they are finished with whatever they are working on now, they might get the same ideas...

    I must say I'm pretty surprised by this observation. Your standard for "very little noticeable difference" must be very broad. As in "these two shields are both circle shaped, therefore there is very little noticeable difference" broad.
