Need help just beat maelstrom Arena and got my 2h weapon need help

What’s the best way to upgrade my weapon to kill players in pvp? I was thinking bout changing the trait to nirncrux for weapon damage and a weapon enchantment.

BELIVE IT OR NOT. I only use 2h and DW since I started playing this game and ALOT of players doubted my play style. Thinking I can play better in pvp if I had secondary weapon as bow (Stam)or staff (mag)

Congratulations on beating vMA.

The maelstrom 2hander isn’t commonly used in PvP at the moment, but if you plan on running it then I would recomend either infused or nirnhoned, probably Nirnhoned since it provides its full benefit even without diligent lightweaving.

While I agree with the norm or infused retrait only you can decide if the weapon does not work for you. So, you have to try it. If your swimming in transmute Crystal's, do that before you test. If like me, and have just a few, then try first.

It helps to remember that the differences between builds is quite small, and that small difference is not why your getting killed.

As for the enchantment, Posion or Disease are popular in PvP.

But, if your wanting to be Tanky, Defending is not terribad. Unless you have no other source of damage boosts from gear.

Wow anyone who told you to use a staff in PvP on stamblade must have been high. DW/2H is pretty standard.

The ability altering 2handed weapons (Maelstrom, Master’s, blackrose, et cetera) are all fairly niche and situational. You can still make them work, but most people nowadays are running 2handed weapons that are a part of a regular 5peice set.

The weapon damage you need is highly variable. For example, you can run relatively low weapon damage if you have a lot of maximum stamina or run multiple damage proc sets.

To directly answer your question, 2.7k-3k is a reasonable ballpark for unbuffed weapon damage. Can be lower if necessary.

I would suggest watching YouTube videos of stamina Nightblade builds, don’t just copy their stats but listen to them talk about why they’ve chosen to build in a particular way and apply that thought process to your character.

With buff 4868 with dw 2h 4307
47% Crit and 43% Crit for 2h
