Are you tired of hitting that veteran random queue just to find out that your healer is a sorcerer that tells you "I'm a DPS/Healer, don't worry we will be alright I have the matriarch"?
are you tired of being kicked out the moment they see your pet when you queued as a Healer? Well here it is folks a simple comprehensive guide to be a Sorcerer healer.
First thing to do is to take out the DPS/Healer mentality, seriously have you ever seen a paramedic arrive at a horrendous car accident with a M249 telling the victims "Don't worry I also have
band-aids and bacitracin so you will be fine"?. As a Healer you want to make sure you have enough resource regain to cast those healing spells consistently. so please don't show up using all your previous DPS oriented gear unless of course you are also running a set like Infallible Aether that hits the enemy with minor vulnerability .
You will also want to make sure you have a Restoration staff equipped, Healing springs and Combat Prayer are two skills you want slotted on that staff, a lot of people think that by simply spamming Regeneration they got it covered, news flash! you don't!
Since I mentioned resource regain for yourself it is a MUST to have Energy Orb slotted and periodically launching them to help out your team to regain their resources.
Aggressive Warhorn for that 10% stat boost and Major Force, just pay attention to the active buffs on a trial, and don't waste it if somebody already casted one, once done yo cast yours to keep the uptime.
This is not a full complex guide this is just what I have yet seen on any Dungeon Run, vDSA, Trial every single time a healer hops in and happens to be a Sorcerer and the run ends up being a fail.
